We stayed at a charming place in a lovely area, perfect for exploring. There are fantastic walks and cycle routes nearby, plus plenty to see within a short drive. Wotton-under-Edge has a lot of historyand we highly recommend visiting Cotswold Wildlife Park, Berkeley Castleand Bourton-on-the-Water for a great few days. We’ll be back!

Honestly, we had a great stay! The views from the property are stunningand being so close to the Cotswold Way made it perfect for long walks. Our dogs loved the off-lead time in the woods nearby. The bed was super comfy - I even checked the mattress! Unwinding in the hot tub after a day of exploring was just what we needed. The location is ideal, only a short 10-minute stroll into the village with lovely coffee spots. We’re definitely coming back!

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.

The Blue Reef Aquarium and IMAX 3D Cinema is located in Bristol and makes a great fun family day out.  The newest attraction in the region it's an experience not to be missed.  More than 7000 animals are resident in naturally themed habitats and you can enjoy wandering around looking at the 40 displays. Highlights include the giant octopus and the cute seahorses. The IMAX 3D cinema system is fantastic - you will feel like you are swimming along with the animals.

This wonderful attraction in Gloucestershire will appeal to animal lovers as you will have the chance to see the fantastic work going on and meet the rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.  This place is funded entirely through public donations and they rely on these vital funds.  Kids will love the play barn and straw den where they can run off some energy.  New for 2010 is the Aerial Runway with Jungle Climber.

A visit to the Craft Village is also recommended where there are a wide range of handcrafted gifts.
