What a holiday cottage! Nested in the peace and quiet of the Welsh countryside, this barn was a (luxury) home from home. Incredible living space with TV area, dining/games table and kitchen all in one. The bedrooms are set in another wing of the property so people going to bed early aren't disturbed by the noise in the barn area. Beautiful barn perfect for our group.Nearest pubs restaurant etc a 15 minute drive so a car is essential.We found a few that are dog friendly but the trout inn is not so trip advisor is wrong about that !We loved it being rural and therefore peaceful.Saw Red Kites everywhere,Elan valley is well worth a visit too.

Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
