Apple Tree Lodge At Talgarth Reviews

James
We had such a lovely stay at Apple Tree Lodge! From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming and cosy. The cottage is really well equipped, with everything we could possibly need plus some nice extra touches. The bedrooms are generousand the super king bed was seriously comfy-best sleep ever! We tried the wood-fired hot tub for the first timeand it was fantastic, especially with the included wood. Picking apples from the trees and enjoying them at breakfast was such a treat. Overall, a brilliant place we’d definitely come back to. Highly recommend!
Emma
Really enjoyed the stay, thank you so much!
Charlotte

The lodge was lovely and the location couldn’t be better. Kids had a blast in the hot tuband it’s a perfect spot for a quick weekend escape!
Jamie
The place is really well situated and had everything we needed. The views were stunning, especially with the stream at the bottom of the garden, which was a lovely touch. It was a bit tricky to find and those steps with all our bags were a pain, but overall, we loved it!
Emma
We loved the peaceful orchard setting, perfect for a relaxing break. The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely hot tub to unwind in after a day out. The village has everything we needed - shops, pubs, chemistand butcher - all just a short walk away. It’s a really quiet spot, ideal for escaping it all, though Wi-Fi and TV are available for those who want them!
Oliver
Apple Tree Lodge is absolutely stunning, the perfect spot to unwind. The attention to detail is really excellent. We had a wonderful time, it was a bit of a wrench to head out for the day and explore but it was well worth it - there are loads of walks and activities close by, plenty of great places to eat and the local shops were well stocked. We're already planning our return trip!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at Apple Tree Lodge and have told our friends and family all about it! It had everything we could wish for and then some. After a snowfall, waking up to the frosted garden was just stunning. The beds were super comfyand the shower was brilliant. This area of Wales is gorgeous, with loads of places to explore if you enjoy the outdoors.
Gemma
We really enjoyed our stay at Apple Tree Lodge and Talgarth. The Christmas bottle of champagne was such a lovely surprise and it was perfect while we were in the hot tub. The lodge felt well-equipped and we appreciated the little touches like washing and dishwasher tablets, loads of hooks, towels for the hot tub, plenty of kitchen utensils, rubbish bags, lots of wood and fire starterand good lighting outside with sensors.
Emma
What a gorgeous spot to unwind! This place is in a beautiful part of the worldand we love how convenient it is being in Talgarth. It's so stylish and comfortable here, plus opening those massive sliding doors to a view of trees in the sunshine is just lovely. We highly recommended it!
James
We recently spent a week at Apple Tree Lodge as a family and we were really pleased with the accommodation. The setting was lovely and Talgarth made for a great base to explore the Brecon Beacons. We even got to enjoy the hot tub after a bit of trial and error with getting the fire lit. Our only small complaint would be that, during the high temperatures, the lodge gets really hot with all the glazing - it might be a good idea to provide more than one fan for the whole place!
Sarah
Overall, we think the cottage is wonderful! It has a hot tub and is in a lovely location. However, we feel there should be a gate at the top of the steps to stop the dogs from getting too close to the cars. We would definitely recommend the property, as we hope the cleanliness issue was just a blip.
Janet
A lovely property in a lovely location. The property is decorated to a high standard and very comfortable beds/bedding it was spotlessly clean. The location was lovely and it felt we we far from home but only an hour away. The only difficulty was the access for my elderly mother as the steps down were a struggle for her. Would highly recommend.
Clara
A stunning cottage! Super cosy and in an excellent location. We really enjoyed our time in Talgarth and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you!
Emily
We've just returned from a brilliant weekend at Apple Tree Lodge. Louise was incredibly helpful with all our questions and kept in touch with us throughout. The property itself is just lovelyand the hot tub is absolutely amazing! We will for sure be back again.
Graham
This cabin is super comfortable and tucked away in a beautiful village right inside the Brecon Beacons! The walks and views around are absolutely stunning. However, if you've got little ones, the layout of the cabin might be a bit tricky. Plus, there’s not much in the way of essential gear for young children, so it’s probably better suited for families with slightly older kids.
Amelia
Apple Tree Lodge was the most perfect staycation! The lodge was just beautiful and gave us a much needed serene and peaceful getaway. We really enjoyed ourselves and can definitely see ourselves visiting the lodge every year. Louise was so friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an incredible stay.
Lucy
Ideal stop for our walking adventures! The hot tub was a lovely treat after a day of exploring. The lodge was fantasticand we can't wait to come back in the future.
Oliver
A cosy lodge that has all the appliances we needed, but there’s no WiFi, which is a bit of a letdown. The views are lovelyand it’s really relaxing with plenty of birds of prey to spot and identify. The hot tub is a nice touch, though it does take a while to heat up.!
