Dogs are totally welcome too, which was a big plus. Debbie was a lovely hostand we didn’t feel rushed at all. Definitely a memorable weekend away!

Debbie was really helpful, giving us a great walk suggestion that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hot tub, heatingand hot water were all spot onand the bed was so comfy I couldn’t stop nosing at the duvet and mattress! We had an amazing week at Apple Blossom Lodge! It’s easy to get to off the main roads and local shops are only about 10 minutes away, which is handy. Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Dinefwr Park and Castle - SA19 6RT
about 27 Miles
Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.
