We stayed at Lilly Pond Lodge for a week and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place was super peaceful, with lovely views and plenty of space to unwind. Our dog loved the outdoor area and could come and go freely, which was perfect for him. The balcony was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the scenery, whatever the weather. Wow, what a fantastic place! The kitchen was super well equipped, making cooking a breeze. The bed was so cosy with a lovely duck down quilt and pillows, we slept like logs. The hot tub was greatand the views from the deck, which overlooked the pond, were stunning. We loved the ducks, George and Mildred, who visited daily. Bringing some bird food was a good shout - we enjoyed watching the many birds. Overall, a really relaxing spot with beautiful surroundings. We’ll definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lodge! The place was spotless and well-keptand the hot tub was always in top condition. The location is stunning-morning and evening walks around the pond with the dogs were a real highlight. Watching herons, kitesand blue tits daily was just lovelyand we even caught sight of a barn owl! The national park is only an hour away, so we explored Pen-y-Fan and the Waterfalls Walks. Brecon and Elan Valley are worth a visit too. Debbie was a fantastic host-thanks again!

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Dinefwr Park and Castle - SA19 6RT
about 27 Miles
Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.
