We loved the property and the location-it really ticked all the boxes for us. The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the start, which was a real bonus. The only small issue was the flies entering despite the door screens; we quickly realised how essential they were after a few hours. Overall, a lovely stay!

We recently spent a lovely week at Cherry Tree Lodge in early June. The place is so peaceful and perfect for unwinding, especially with the west-facing deck and hot tub - ideal for relaxing in the evening sun. Watching the Mayflies dance, Wagtails feeding their chicksand House Martins swooping over the pond was a real treat. We also kept spotting a Heron and suspect an Otter has been around, though sadly most of the goldfish are gone now. The lodge is well-equipped with plenty of storage under the beds and sofas. We’d definitely return!
