We honestly love Cwm Cilgee cabin! The setting is so peaceful and picturesque, perfect for unwinding. The place is really well equipped, with two comfy double bedrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge. The hot tub is a lovely touch, especially after a day out. It’s fully fenced, which is great for our dog. Sarah and Tony are fantastic hosts-always available and super accommodating. We’ve already booked for next year, our fourth visit in just two years. Can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely stay again! The cabins are so cosy and set in such a peaceful spot, with stunning views over the valley. Watching the sheep and cows grazing was a real treat. The place is well-equipped, warmand comfy - everything we needed. The homemade treats like fresh milk, eggsand Welsh cakes were a nice touchand our dog was also well looked after. It’s our second year hereand we’re already planning to come back next year. Can’t recommend enough!

We’ve stayed here twice over the past few months and honestly, it’s been lovely each time. The lodges are spotless and well-equippedand the welcome pack with bread, butter, orange juice, milk, eggsand Welsh cakes is such a thoughtful touch. The location is perfect-close to dams, the Cambrian mountainsand just an hour from Brecon Beacons. The drive to Devils Bridge is breathtakingand the steam train trip to the coast is a must. Honestly, you don’t need to leave-the views are just WOW!!

We had a lovely time at this placeand it’s our second visit! The open-plan living and kitchen area is really spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The two double bedrooms are comfyand the big bathroom with a walk-in shower is handy. The hot tub is a great bonus. Being on a working farm with sheep and cattle is charmingand the whole place is fully fenced, so our dogs were safe. We’ve already booked for 2025, can’t wait to come back!

If you're after a proper escape, this place hits the spot. The views are breathtaking, only broken up by the soaring red kites - such a sight! The cabin is really well equipped, everything you could ask for. Plenty of lovely walks around, then relaxing in the hot tub to ease tired muscles. Sarah and Tony are lovely - they keep out of your way but are there if you need anything. Tony’s cheerful waves made us feel right at home. Totally recommend this place!

We had an incredible stay at The Cwm! The scenery is stunning, especially at night when the sky is clear - truly breathtaking. The privacy was perfect for unwindingand the cabin had everything we needed for both a quick escape and a longer getaway. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the local free-range eggs, orange juiceand milk. It’s clear the hosts care a lot. We’re definitely coming back, as it was the most peaceful break we’ve had in ages. Even our dog loved staring at the sheep all day - he’s already begging to return!

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.

This National Trust site is one of the finest in Wales. The stunning castle was once a medieval fortress and has been remodelled several times over the last 400 years. The Great Hall is home to some amazing collections of paintings as well as sculptures and tapestries. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and on special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas.
