Ty Beudy Reviews

Emma
We've stayed here five times now, usually in the quieter seasons because we really enjoy the peaceful escape. The cottages are cosy and well-equipped, plenty of space for us and the dogs. It’s perfect for pet owners and always makes us feel right at home. Love it!
Jamie
We loved staying at Ty Beudy; the location is stunning, just a few miles from Aberystwyth, with lovely views. The walk to the pub is nice but uphill, so be prepared. The cottage itself was cosyand relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was a highlight. Gareth was super friendly and helpful throughout. WiFi was reliable when we needed it, perfect for Netflix binges. Since it's on a working farm, you’ll hear some farming noises and cars, but it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommend!
Emma
The place is super peaceful, with a lovely enclosed garden for the dog. The WiFi works perfectlyand the views of the valleys are stunning. Beds are comfyand the kitchen has everything we need. Can’t wait to come back!
Emily
Honestly, we had a fantastic time here! The cottage was super cosy and thoughtfully arranged - really made us feel at home. When we arrived, there was a nice touch with a pint of milk in the fridge and the tea, coffeeand sugar jars were topped up, which my mum really appreciated. The views were stunning and our dog loved wandering around exploring the grounds. It’s rare to find such a peaceful spot that ticks all the boxes. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break. We’ll be back for sure, it was just perfect!
Sarah
We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! It’s so peacefuland we barely heard a sound from any neighbours, which was perfect. The secure garden was great for our dogand there are lovely walks right from the doorstep. The place was spotless and really cosy, especially with the hot tub kept nicely heated. There’s plenty to do nearby-our highlights were the Butterfly Farm and Afon Honey, watching the bees and ants was so interesting. Gareth was super friendly and available if we needed anything. We’re definitely coming back in the autumn!
Alex
Comfortable, friendly staff, good location, but room decor needs updating.
James
The place was well stocked with all essentials for a weekend trip. Everything functioned perfectlyand we never felt like we were missing anything or wishing for extra amenities. Quite a hassle-free experience, really!
Alex Morgan
We really enjoyed our stay here! The place had everything we needed, like a dishwasher, washing machineand a hot tub with incredible views. Big baths, a decent showerand a secure garden for the dogs. Only 15 mins from Aberystwyth beach. Definitely coming back!
Alex
Lovely quiet spot, with everything we needed and owners who are really helpful.
Emma
The cottage is super peaceful, perfect for unwinding. You definitely need a car to get around easily. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after exploring. Plenty of space inside and out, plus nice walks for the dogs-great stay!
James
Absolutely loved the stay here!
Oliver
We've been visiting this place for the last three years now! It's been an absolutely amazing holiday each timeand we are definitely planning to come back again next year. Highly recommended! The place is spotless, clean and tidyand Gareth and Gemma are always available if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!
Mark
A great set of cottages in a stunning location, just a quick drive from town. Our cottage had all the essentialsand the hot tub was fantastic! Gareth, the owner, is a really nice guy. Just make sure to follow the directions given, as the cottages aren't at the postcode or the marked spot on Apple or Google maps. We’d definitely recommend staying here.
James
We found it very well appointed! The en suite in one bedroom was a nice touch. There was plenty of hot waterand the heating was great. The living area felt spacious for a small cottage.
Emily
A stunning part of the world, just right for what we were after. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the views. The property could use a bit of TLC, plus there was no hand soap provided which isn't ideal for covid. Would definitely return!
Charlie
We definitely won't be heading back. The room was dirty and just not worth the money. The jacuzzi was filthy too; honestly, it was cleaner when we left than when we arrived!
Tom
We had an excellent time at this cottage and the location was just perfect! Gareth was super helpful, providing us with loads of local advice and info that really made our stay first class. Our cockapoo absolutely loved it too, which made the experience even better.
Mark
Overall, it was good. But we had a bit of an issue with the water. It kept switching from scalding to cold in seconds, making it impossible to have a proper shower or bath. We mentioned this to the owner, who was a really pleasant gentlemanand a plumber was supposed to come, but he never showed up. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the hot tub since you need to shower first. It's a shame this happened because it did put a bit of a dampener on things.
James
We stayed in Ty Beaudy Cottage and were really pleased with how the owner greeted us. The property was spotlessly clean and tidy, with the heating on, plus a pack of biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting for us as a lovely welcome gift. The views were absolutely stunningand it was just 6 miles from Aberystwyth centre, which took us about 5 minutes in the car. The price is quite reasonable too! We had such a fantastic time we’ve already booked to come back next year. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys peace, quietand beautiful countryside views.
Oliver
Fantastic location! It's so easy to get around and there's so much to see nearby. The accommodation was really clean and comfortable, which made our stay even better. We loved the little coffee shop just around the corner, perfect for breakfast. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely come back! Just a minor issue; the shower could have been a bit more powerful, but that didn't spoil our visit.
