A fabulously unique shepherds hut, situated within a small cluster of delightfully individual pods, beautifully designed and surrounded by breath taking scenery across the valley. The stunning far reaching views and stylish, cosy interior make this ideal for couples to snuggle up on a romantic break but also has a unique offering of being able to accommodate small families, perfect as a base to head off into the surrounding Cambrian Mountains whilst offering a real retreat to return back to.
The open plan living area provides a comfortable bench sofa where you can relax in front of the TV and a well equipped kitchen and compact dining area, with the sofa converting into an ingenious bunk bed. The shower room is compact and well designed, like the rest of the hut, to maximise space and provide all the home comforts you need.
The master double room gives this shepherds hut a feeling of space and added luxury with the awe inspiring hillside views. The shepherds hut is set in a private enclosed garden, where the dog and children can use up any remaining energy at the end of the day, whilst you sit and enjoy a cool drink as the sun goes down or perhaps slip into the enticing hot tub and soak in the views.
The local bustling market town of Rhayader is less than two miles away, where you can sit and enjoy its restaurants and cafes or head off into the Cambrian Mountains and spend a day exploring the Elan Valley, with its imposing Victorian dams and reservoirs. Enjoy nearby nature reserves or marvel at the ‘dark skies’.
Builth Wells, famous for the Royal Welsh Show is 17 miles away. Alternatively, if you fancy a complete change of scene, within an hours drive you could visit the Victorian seaside resort of Aberystwyth on the West Wales coast or take a day trip further north to the National Trusts Powis Castle, a medieval castle, providing a dramatic backdrop for its celebrated gardens.
