We had the loveliest stay at madocs barn- we actually had a little mini moon here after our wedding and it couldnt have been more perfect! Perfect for Two couples as the rooms are at opposite ends of the property with your own bathroom/ensuite. We had three dogs with us and the loved the place. Two garden areas, one with a tall wall around, perfect for our foxhound x who loves to jump fences. Log burner was lovely in the evenings. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

A super dog friendly cottage. Spacious enough for my 3 large dogs. Great views. The 2 gardens were totally enclosed, although sheep do wander past 1 of the gardens and are visible, so I did keep an eye on my GSD when in that garden. The host is lovely but unobtrusive. An amazing cottage in an amazing position. We really enjoyed the hot tub and watching Red Kites soaring above us. Superb accommodation - functionality with style. Works as a base for exploring the surrounding area or simply as a place to spend time. It was a pleasure to return to at the end of each day - quiet, relaxing, and stress-free. The relative remoteness is a plus when it comes with such scenery.

A perfect place to slow down, recharge, and be. A sanctuary where the only sounds are of birds and sheep.

Really lovely property, with all the things you need to hand. Hot tub was great, and lovely views across the valley. We had a nice relaxing few days at the Barn, the situation is lovely.. nestled in a christmas tree plantation with stunning views. Very peaceful and wonderful dark skies for stargazing. Loved the hot tub and firepit. It's a long way to the pub, we drove, as the roads are narrow and bendy. The barn is gorgeous - some furniture a little dated and the mattresses are sprung rather than memory foam. Nice log burner and under floor heating in parts. Worked well for 2 friends as we had privacy.

We enjoyed a wonderful getaway at this cottage. The beds are really comfy and the mezzanine bedroom was a great addition which felt more private than sharing a regular bedroom with someone! Wow, what an amazing place. The area is quiet and secluded, the cottage comes equipped with a hot tub, fire pit, log burner and WiFi, which was exactly what we needed for a relaxing get away. Just got back from a week at Madocs Barn with my husband and two dogs. The cottage was perfect, clean and cosy. We ordered a Tesco shop to arrive for our arrival between 4&5pm. The delivery arrived earlier before we had and the owner so kindly took our shopping in and put it all away for us. We were so appreciative. We purchased the All Trails App and found plenty of walks to explore. So after a long day of hiking the hot tub was very inviting. Lovely to relax and watch the stars.
