For pubs, eateries and independent shops, visit Oswestry (9 miles), Whitchurch (16 miles) or Shrewsbury (25 miles), where you can explore Shrewsbury Prison and the many activities on offer there.

Alderford Lake (15 miles) is an absolute must in the summer and guarantees to be a fun fuelled day for anyone who loves water! This charming, semi detached barn conversion, adjacent to an old working farm, provides a perfect break to explore Shropshire and its borderlands.
