Beautiful location, extremely isolated apart from cottage next door, but not overlooked at all. It is very ' snug ' , think large camper van , but it is perfectly adequate for 2. Extra space available in fridge freeze in the pump house.outside a small patio with hot tub. Large garden round along side a stream. Beautiful scenery. Great, dog-friendly mini break. Bothy was very cosy and easy to keep warm in the colder months. Make sure you bring a torch as it is very dark. Could see the milky way from the hot tub one night! Rachael
Absolutely fantastic. Caroline and Jenny are fantastic hosts. The bothy was small but perfect, they thought of everything (and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch!). Amazing views and walks and it really helped for a mental health reset. I think the dog loved it more than we did! I can't thank the owners enough.
Linda
Perfect in every way , we couldnt have asked for more .
Elaine
We enjoyed our stay at Tach Bothy, especially our Rottie Hades who loved the secure garden and field to have a run in, and the comfy bed he slept in, this was our only downside as we hadn't factored in that two large adults (me with some physical limitations) and our 40kg Rottie may not encourage a good sleep in such a cute small place! Always lear ning and that was my mistake. Hot tub was amazing, view incredible. Excellent advice to shop before arriving and lovely welcome, great place to stay!
Adrian
Great stay and was made to feel very welcome. We will be back again ! Beautiful place !!
Claire-Louise
We had a lovely stay here, accommodation was cosy and comfy. The hot tub was perfectly positioned to watch the sun set and had privacy from the cottage next door. A bottle of prosecco and milk was a lovely touch on arrival. There were games, DVDs and books that could be borrowed for a lazy day along with an information folder with a couple of local walks and sites to go and visit. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here.
Stephanie
