The Byre

This superb, semi-detached cottage, lovingly created from a barn conversion on the owners' working livestock farm in the small hamlet of Llanddewi Skirrid, oozes quality and charm. From the moment you walk into the open plan living space with its vaulted ceiling showing off the original beams, the stone walls and the lovely tiled flooring, you will feel relaxed and ready to enjoy your holiday.

The spacious double bedroom is down a lovely short flight of wooden stairs and has a delightful en-suite bathroom. The opportunities for walking and cycling from the doorstep of this cottage are endless, along countryside lanes or on the local Skirrid Mountain, the most easterly of the mountains within the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons).

Enjoy the animals on the farm and the array of wild birds including red kites flying overhead. Spend a day in Abergavenny or Hay-on-Wye, or discover the region's abbeys, castles, museums and ever-changing scenery.
