The Cwtch Reviews

Lovely cottage in a great location for coastal walk. Modern & well equipped, even had bits for the dog. Even though we didn't use them Loved the private secure garden for the dog. Which enabled us to use the hot tub without worrying. My only negetive was there was no where to hang a wet coat separate to the hanging rail in the bedroom where are clothes were. Maybe something on the inside door of the boiler cupboard?? We did have some stormy weather to be fair though. A relaxed cosy stay. Friendly hosts & loved how the pigs ran across the field to say hello.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the Cwtch. It was spotlessly clean and tidy and the bed was so big and comfortable, with plenty of drawer space for our. The kitchen was well equipped, everything we needed was there. The garden was a perfect size for our dog, Clemmy. It was properly enclosed with no chance of escape and the hot tub was an added bonus. The dog extras were a brilliant idea, particularly the holiday id tag and the mitten dog towel was perfect for a dog with a beard. Weve bought one for home.
Rebecca
Lovely property, so comfortable and clean. Secure for the dog and lovely facilities! Area was beautiful and our pup loved the piggies
Sharon
Cosy cottage in excellent location. Well equipped and beautiful. Hot tub was a welcome treat after long coastal beach walks. Lovely secure garden for the dog. Only suggestion would be to add some voile curtains at the main entrance for more privacy as it faces out into the courtyard for all 3 cottages. Were already thinking about returning next year
Evelyn

Phyllis

A very nice cottage in lovely position, owners so helpful and friendly, we enjoyed our stay and the Vale of Glamorgan is so pleasant.
The Cwtch is a fantastic place stay and we cant recommend it highly enough. Everything provided was of the highest possible quality. The welcome packs for dogs and us humans were lovely and the garden was 100 secure so we could sit in the hot tub and not worry about the dogs escaping! We met Emma and Hannah who were both really helpful and there are lovely walks from the farm. We will definitely be going back.

The cottage was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, however the only disappointing parts was on arrival me and my partner was pulled across in the layby before going down the lane to the cottage and there was a gator with a man and 2 young lads in it and they beeped at us, flicked stones up at our car whilst skidding out of the lane laughing at us, and this didnt give us a very good impression, unfortunately the hot tub turned my partners shorts orange due to the amount of chlorine in the water, despite this the cottage was lovely.

Could find no fault would definitely recommend
The cottage is cosy with all you could want from your holiday accommodation. It would have been nice to have a view out of the back.
Beautiful little getaway. Can't wait to return
We were very happy with our stay at The Cwtch. The property is finished to a high standard & was very well equipped & comfortable. We would highly recommend & would go again ourselves but not sure if age & health will allow!

From our first step inside the cottage we have been amazed by the welcome feeling we've got cleanliness, spotless, attention to all little details, best quality all over the place. Very tranquil place although it is on a working farm. Cottage location is close to a lot of walking paths, places to visit, pubs and restaurants and shops. We are going to book again and enjoy. Thank you so much Emma and David! Margot and Adrien
We were so pleased as soon as we arrived It was such a relaxing location Great locations on your doorstep to visit The property had everything you needed and more especially the hot tub after a days walking .
We cannot Thank Emma and David enough, the Cottage exceeded all expectations, the attention to detail and personal touches made all the Difference, we were the first guests to take Bunnies there and we had bunnie treats in our welcome basket. The garden was great amade sure there were no gaps in the fence to ensure their safety. The hot tub was fantastic! And we had a fabulous sleep. Emma was always there if you needed anything, we felt very welcome and are already looking forward to visiting again.
Stuart
