We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Dairy Cottage and loved the outside space with secure garden for our Houdini dog and the decking and hot tub areas, which get the sun most of the day. There were some lovely touches on arrival and the cottage is very well equipped. It is within easy reach of many tourist attractions and beautiful beacRead morehes. We were very lucky to have fabulous weather during our stay and were able to make the most of the outside space. Hide

Paul
Superb for a getaway break, cleanliness and comfort, home from home. We appreciated the Secure garden and paddock for our labrador Nancy and to top it all a relaxing Hot Tub after a day out and about!

The gifts and and little extras made it a warm welcome to the property. Even though it was next to the owners property, it was very private. Well kept outside area by the hot tub. Could hear the traffic on road but it did not disturb us. Recommend the bunch of grapes for Sunday lunch in Newcastle Emlyn.
Susan

Location is great for visiting the area. The pub food at the Bunch of Grapes is amazing and would also recommend the Chinese food from The Blue Bell Inn. The beach at Aberporth is great and dog friendly on one side. I will say with some property improvements I would recommend a friend but its no at the moment.
Timothy
I would highly recommend we never had our dog with us as she is getting old but very safe for furry friends Not far to travel anywhere such a beautiful country

We stayed for a week at Dairy Cottage with our dog and it was outstanding. The owners are extremely welcoming and did everything possible to make sure that everything went smoothly. The cottage itself is set in an amazing location and the hot tub was great to sit in every night to relax. The property is completely self contained so you have all Read morethe privacy you would expect. The cottage is located in a central location in Carmarthenshire allowing easy travel to many incredible places. When we arrived there was Towel Swans along with complimentary items to greet us. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be returning in the future! Hide

Very lovely and peaceful area. Beautiful little cottage with a nice fully enclosed garden (we have an escape artist and he didn't find anywhere to escape). Lovely property inside as well, very clean and it felt like it was completely private. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back again!
Annette
The property offers a really great base to explore the coast whilst private and secluded. The host just leaves you be but is there should you need anything, the paddock is a huge bonus for the dog to have a run. We loved the hot tub too.

The cottage is lovely and cosy. Enclosed garden for the dog. Hot tub was fabulous. It was very clean when we arrived. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Local area is beautiful with so much to see and do. Would recommend a holiday here if u like to explore in the day and enjoy relaxed cozy evenings in at night.

We wanted to say a huge thank you as weve had a lovely stay at a superbly presented and excellently appointed Dairy Cottage retreat at Black Lion Cynwylelfed, Carmarthenshire, owned by a lovely couple. We could not have enjoyed our holiday more. We would thoroughly recommend a visit. Its located within about half an hour of several different townsRead more and attractions (such as the botanic garden and steam railway) but far enough away so, when back at the cottage, you can enjoy the solitude and view in peace. The hot tub was a surprising extra we had not been expecting and we made great use of it in the evenings. On arrival, our hosts had left us teats for our little dog which was a lovely touch. A definite 10 out of 10. Hide
