Nettys Cottage Reviews

Helen
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage in a cute village close to Sandringham. The garden was lovely, especially with the hot tub. It’s well stocked inside, although heating was a bit tricky to manage and a tad chilly on autumn evenings.
Mark
The location was perfect for checking out Norfolk’s hidden spotsand the place itself was comfy with all we needed. Shame we didn’t bump into Spike the hedgehog, but a cat looking for dinner did make us smile a bit! Lovely stay overall.
Sophia
The bungalow was really lovely and well kitted out. It’s on a busy road, so not super peaceful, but the nearby Co-op made shopping easy. Thaxters Garden Centre’s tea room served up some cracking food, definitely worth a visit. The only snag was the ensuite shower-kind of tricky for one of us with limited mobility-and the other had a high bath to contend with. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogsand the comfy settee was a highlight!
Emma
We really enjoyed staying here! The house was cosy and well-equippedand the garden was perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, making the stay extra special!
Mark
The house was super cosy and had everything we needed. Dersingham’s a lovely spot to stay when exploring Norfolk, definitely recommend!

The cottage was really well kitted out, set in a charming village. We enjoyed ourselves, despite the weather not being ideal.
Emma
Honestly, this was one of the nicest holidays cottages we've stayed in. Any little issues that popped up were sorted out super quickly by really friendly staff who were always ready to help. We can't blame anyone for the bad weather, of course, but we’re really hoping to come back sometime soon. The bedding was absolutely top-notch, super comfy. The location was perfect too-close to shops, takeawaysand right on a bus route, so getting around was easy. We really enjoyed our stay!
Sarah
Really enjoyed our stay! The bungalow was spotless and cosy. We loved relaxing in the hot tuband Heacham and Hunstanton were easy to reach by car.
Oliver
We had a lovely stay at this modern bungalow! The beds were super comfyand we all slept really well. Its location was spot on for dog walks on the nearby common, plus shops and a garden centre just a short walk away. The garden was totally secure for our dogand the hot tub was enormous - perfect for relaxing. We also had fun figuring out all the quirky gadgets, like the star lights in the bathroom. Would definitely stay again!
Alex
This place is really cosy and well-equipped, plus super spacious. Even being close to a main road, it stayed quiet both day and night. Off-road parking was a blessing. Perfect spot for exploring North Norfolkand the garden along with the hot tub made everything even better!
Emma
Absolutely loved the cottage! Perfect spot for exploring with local shops and eateries nearby. The garden was super secure for my dog, which was a relief. Everything you might need, from cooking to cleaning, was provided. Honestly didn't want to go home. Thanks for the lovely stay!

This cottage is fantastic and in a really great location! It's super easy to get to lots of beautiful towns and beachesand coming back to the lovely hot tub at the end of the day is just perfect. We would definitely come back again.
Emma
We absolutely loved Nettys Cottage! The village it's in is massive, not what I'd usually picture as a village, but this just means there are loads of handy facilities. The Coop is an easy walk away, along with pubs, takeaways, a garden centreand more. It's on a fairly busy road at times, but that just means you're off on your journey quickly. We'd definitely come back! The hot tub is fantasticand the garden is stunning. The kitchen was perfect for us. We really liked the sofa areaand the beds were super comfortable. There's a good selection of books, DVDsand games too. Plus, it was very clean!
Simon
Everything was exactly how we wanted it! Even had a rail by the hot tub to make getting in and out so much easier. We were really pleased!
Sophie
We had a fantastic week! The house is really well equipped and has everything you need and then some. The location is spot on for visiting Sandringham and the beach, among other things. There are brilliant dog walks and the garden is secure, making it ideal for the dogs too!
Rachel
We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back! The bungalow is beautiful and in such a perfect location. The bus stop is just outside, with one side going to Kings Lynn and the other to Hunstanton. The bungalow has everything you need and even more. Thank you!
Lucy
We had a really lovely time at this cottage! It was clean, spaciousand super comfy. The place was really well equipped with modern, clean bathrooms and a kitchen. The garden was a great size and fully enclosed, so it felt very safe for our dog. The hot tub was excellent too, plus it wasn't overlooked at all. We enjoyed a short walk to a co-op and found two dog-friendly pubs within walking distance. It was just a short drive to Sandringham and some lovely beaches.
Lucy
We really couldn't fault our accommodation! It had everything we could possibly want, including lovely extras like bread, tea, coffeeand it was spotlessly clean.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 16 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 22 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 22 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 26 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 27 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 28 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
