Amazing location. Wasn't much fun in the rain as confined to the hut but would be perfect in the dryer, summer months.

We stayed in the shepherd's hut and all I can say is what a beautiful property, rolling hills and our own private meadow to wonder in and right at the top you can look back over Hereford. All throughout the day all we could hear was the birds, this is by far the most peaceful place I've ever stayed. A lovely, quiet and relaxing get away. It was super cosy and quite private in a beautiful area. Made even better that we could enjoy it with our little furry friend. The owners and very approachable, helpful and easily contactable. We would 100% stay again or recommend to a friend.

Absolutely beautiful there are no faults to report. The owners communication was effective and even went and put the light on at the hut for when we arrived late and it was dark, made sure we were happy with everything and assured us to contact if we needed anything. Definitely would return

Beautiful little haven very romantic.
Alexandra
This was the perfect weekend away which was much needed. The location is perfectly private giving you a wonderful view of the local farm and wildlife. The hut has everything required for a home from home feeling and the hot tub is an added treat.
Gary
The owners greeted us on arrival and gave us friendly advice on use of the facilities and nearby amenities/locations. We struggled initially to light the log burner and the owners were very quick to help. They also brought round candles and offered to charge appliances when the area experienced a power cut. The hut was as advertised, in a rural pic turesque location, a short drive from several nearby towns and public houses and was very easy to find.

This has to be one of the best experiences both myself and my partner have experienced. We had our original holiday cancelled the day before and this was available, I don't think anything could of possibly been better as this exceeded all our expectations for what we were looking for. We could not fault the hosts one bit. We were given the privacy we wanted as well as always being on hand if we needed them. It was cosy, romantic and perfect in every way. We will of course be back in 2023
Matt
What a hidden getaway. Easy drive to pretty much everything in the area and wonderful hosts. Can't wait to get up there again!
John
Really lovely setup. The accommodation is small, but had a great time in the hot tub. Friendly and helpful owners
Tom
We had a great stay for the weekend. Amazing views and walks for as far as your legs can manage! Close enough to a lot of areas for day trips and just as great for staying put for the weekend! Would come again
Debra
Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing break. Which coincided with heatwave! Too hot to appreciate the lovely walks and unfortunately the grass was brown and dry which spoilt the view somewhat. Hot tub was used on cool Melissa was very helpful with a fan. The peace and quiet though was wonderful. We definitely recharged over the 2 days. Saw a pheasant an d babies, frog, woodpecker and rabbit. Thankyou
Morgan
We really enjoyed our stay, the scenery was amazing and the property itself was lovely! The hosts were great, they were really welcoming and helpful! We will definitely be staying again and would recommend to family and friends!
Sharon
We had a wonderful time in the shepherds hut set in a beautiful location which is isolated and rural, just what we were looking for. The hosts were very welcoming but not intrusive. We will certainly be recommending this holiday to family and friends.
Kelly

Ann

Hannah
We loved our stay in Twyford retreat - it was idyllic (even in the wind and rain!). The hut was warm and cosy and gave us the perfect Valentines break away - The host was wonderful sending clear instructions of how to reach the hut and we had some lovely essentials ready on our arrival! The hut was spotlessly clean and we felt right at home there - wish we had booked for longer and cannot wait to return!
Leo
An absolutely stunning and peaceful retreat. Fantastic layout, location, well equipt, not to mention the hot tub which sealed the deal. Would not hesitate to come back to Twyford Retreat
Becky
Perfect stay for a few days away. Peaceful location but still close to local amenities. Lots of lovely walks around. The shepherds hut was comfortable and hot tub was a real treat! Would definitely stay again.
