About Henhouse Farm

Encompassed by beautiful views, whilst boasting five bedrooms with stylish en-suites, a woodburning stove, beamed ceilings, various areas to relax from, and an annexe with hot tub, the cottage is ideal for a family break, welcoming ten guests and two well-behaved dogs.

Both the interior and exterior of Henhouse Farm are generously-sized, providing an wealth of living and sleeping space for your entire party, displaying traditional features including exposed stone walls and oak beams, whilst mixing in contemporary appliances and fixtures. Preparing meals, formal dining, film nights, relaxing evenings in front of the woodburning stove, and sun-filled days will all be possible from your new home-from home.

Offering peace and quiet, the annexe is the perfect place to retreat to, whilst acting as the ideal social hub for soaks in the hot tub, and drying off, before venturing to bed. If you can tear yourself away from Henhouse Farm, enjoy visits to England’s Gate Inn for a glass of wine, stock up on the essentials at a nearby Londis, or perhaps opt for a leisurely stroll around Bodenham Lake?

The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
