Hoarders Cottage Reviews

Joseph
We had a wonderful, restful weekend in Hoarders cottage. Brilliant hosts that could not do enough for us made the trip extra special! The cottage is perfectly located to explore HayonWye, walking distance to everything you might want to do! It was warm and had a homely, cosy feel made even better by the log burner! Would 100 recommend the cottage to anyone and wed love to return!
A gorgeous, quaint, cosy cottage situated just a short walk from all the shops, cafs, pubs and restaurants. The walks around HayonWye are beautiful with stunning views, walks along the river and the odd waterfall here and there. Getting back to the cottage after a long walk was just perfect! Light the log burner, open a bottle and just sit back and unwind. What more could you ask for!? Thank you Steve and Wendy for a wonderful week and giving us a detailed tour of your cosy cottage. Would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family!
Lovely helpful owners. A very quant cottage and very close to town amenities.
Beautiful little cottage, so close to all the shops & cafe's. We loved the hot tub and log burner. Very short walk to all the lovely cafe's and shopsbook shops. Wendy and Steve were on hand if we needed anything. Definitely one to recommend and re visit.

We had a lovely few day at this quaint little cottage. A great location within walking distance of town and country. It was good having the owners on site if needed. Super shower and the hot tub was a bonus. Paul & Glen

A beautiful cottage to spend a few days and a great base from which to explore Hay. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Cottage was exactly as described, very small and very quirky. Very good bathroom and kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed and we slept really well. Great location on the edge of the town, a very short walk to many pubs and eateries. Owners were pleasant and welcoming.

A gem in the centre of Hay. Great place to relax and explore the town. Beautiful cottage, little garden overlooking the countryside. Owners are welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely stay and will return.
We had a lovely break in Hoarders Cottage. The hosts were wonderful and cottage super.
An absolutely delightful cottage in a wonderful setting. The main attraction for us was the wood burning stove! Our hosts were attentive and thoughtful and could not have been more welcoming. Plenty to do and see in the immediate area and surroundings. A fabulous romantic weekend away!
Gorgeous cosy cottage, beautifully restored with charm and all mod cons. Lovely bathroom, bath, shower, comfy bed and super warm with the wood burner. The property owners were really helpful, we had a wonderful time and hope to visit again in the future.
The property was exactly as described. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The cottage was so cosy and comfortable in a beautiful area and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
A limit of 10 minutes hot water when showering etc then waiting 45 hours for tank to heat up, is poor in this day and age. Similarly a TV that functions properly is a simple need. With the log fire lit the cottage is a cosy place to relax. Staircase not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.
The weather was cold so the cottage was also cold but as soon as the multifuel fire was lit it was transformed into cosy cottage. The owners were very friendly and most obliging and the standard of finish and quality of furnishings and fittings was excellent.
Steven
Excellent cottage in an wonderful location with fantastic hosts . Nothing was too much trouble for them and we had a lovely few days , thankyou .
