Loved this property. Good layout, well appointed, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa facilities. Found accessing Pickering for an evening meal, by taxi easy and reasonably priced. Keen walkers we took advantage of a stretch of the tabular hills walk out of the door. We enjoyed a pint or two in the pub next door
Christopher
Very good stay and well taken care of by the owners especially with some special requests for my 93 year old mum who is in a wheelchair. Will definitely stay at this property again mums health permitting. Everything was perfect and a very nice cottage to stay in.
Sally
A very well equipped, spacious cottage with the added bonus of a leisure facility. Nothing too much trouble for the new owners who are striving to make it even better
Heather
Lovely cottage with fantastic facilities.
June
The cottage was very nice and well equipped, everything we needed was there. However, the metal beds were very uncomfortable and would help if replaced. The Pool could have been opened longer so we could use early morning or later when back from our days out. The village is very quiet, no shops, Pickering 5 miles away. We went to one pub in the vil lage for a meal (6 of us plus 1 baby) and were told we weren't local and did not have enough food as it was curry night and told we had to leave.
Lynn
Swift cottage was a fantastic place to stay. Most welcoming of our 2 dogs too( other cottages decided a German Shepherd wasn't welcome even though not stated on their website) so glad we came here. Lovely pool, hot tub and sauna and beautiful gardens to sit in. Kitchen fully equipped. Great location for visiting other places such as York, Whitby an d Scarborough. Would highly recommend.
Bryan
The double bed was extremely hard and not at all comfortable and the shower room was constantly wet all over the floor. I know its a wet room but a shower screen would have kept water away from the toilet and sink areas. However overall the cottage was lovely clean and cosy and the leisure facilities were a big plus for my two grandchildren.
Sarah Louise
Lovely cottage and facilities. Would definitely recommend.
Beth
Lovely spacious cottage and perfect for anyone with disabilities, very clean and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful area and close to lots of attractions. Would definitely recommend.
Sian
Lovely cottage, plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children in our party. Fantastic facilities the children loved the swimming pool and the adults loved the hot tub and sauna. Good all round holiday with something for everyone. Our girls even had Halloween sweets left on the doorstep which was a really night touch!
Vikki
Very spacious and good facilities for wheelchair user. Very clean and lovely village location
