Amazing host and 2 lovely dogs! Throughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to be back!
Maddie
Now this is a holiday with no faults! We had the best time while staying in this pod, the owner was there to greet us and explain a few things, she was more than welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Very helpful and accommodating. The owner had 2 dogs which ran around the pods while she did her check ins on everyone and they were adorable, very affectionate and playful! Our pod overlooked their farm which had cows, donkeys and chickens, very entertaining watching while relaxing in the hot tub. Hot tub was incredible, used at least 3 times a day to make the most of it, perfect for when it went dark and put the pod lights and the tub lights on. Most relaxed we have felt in a long time! The pod had everything that was needed, we took our air fryer with us as it states no oven so we could still do our own cooking however some nights we ventured into Ulverston and had Chinese takeaway and Fish and Chips. Less than 5 minutes down the road into Ulverston is a small village with shops and pubs, plenty to keep you occupied. Location was everything for this pod, we visited Kendal, Keswick, Windermere, and many other places and all within driving distance to enjoy walks or just the Lakes in general. Will definitely be staying again and we can't wait!
What an absolutely amazing place to stay. The location of the pods is stunning, shops accessible closely but placed on land with stunning views. Couldn't ask for nicer hostsowners, missed us on arrival but introduced themselves the morning after we had settled in. Always about if you have any queries, very chatty and genuinely lovely people. The pods have everything you need for your stay, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Will definitely be back
A lovely clean pod in idyllic setting, back to nature! Carol and Ian were great hosts without being intrusive, it was fab being able to see the animals from the pod and meeting Meg and Polly the farm dogs who played with our dog Gypsy. Nice and isolated but not too far to drive to surrounding villages. Would definitely recommend

We had an amazing time in the pods. They were spotless clean and well equipped with everything needed during our stay. The hot tub was amazing again clean and well maintained. The owners of the farm are very lovely and friendly people with a bunch of adorable dogs and chickens that kept us company during our stay. We even got to see newborn calf. The field views with cows sheep and donkeys were beautiful and very relaxing, we loved being woken up by the animal noises in the mornings. Highly recommend for those looking for a reset and relaxing stay surrounded by nature. Were already planning our next stay there.
Absolutely loved our stay, thank you for making us feel welcomed. We would definitely book again in the future. Perfect location, lovely accommodation especially the hot tub...

Lovely property . Highly recommend
We loved our stay at Lowflan farm retreat pods. Our pod was immaculate for our arrival, the owners were really helpful and our daughter loved the dogs that lived there Meg & Polly

Weve just got back from staying in cherry pod. We chose this as our mini moon after our wedding and I can honestly say it was just amazing, the views are beautiful. We was greeted by the owner who was lovely and welcoming, she let us go feed the donkeys some carrots and was helpful in every way she could be she even let us use her dog brush for the 3 nights we stayed and told us some nice walks to go on. She had her own dog which would come play with ours from time to time which was nice. The pod was completely spotless and so cosy! After our day out we would get ready to jump in the hot tub with a glass of wine, it was so peaceful. We are already thinking about dates where we can come back next year! I would recommend staying here to anyone, everything about here is just perfect! Thankyou so much for sharing your beautiful pods & land with us. We will see you next year! Melissa & Nicki xxx

Good and relaxing
Brilliant clean and well presented pods in a beautiful setting with all the facilities and more! Thank you for a lovely stay and a warm welcome to your farm. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends and stay again some time xx
Melissa
We loved our stay at Cherry and would not hesitate to come again. The pod was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the hot tub was amazing, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful. It was a lovely relaxing stay we didnt do many walks as we visited with two small children space in the pod to put up two of our own cots was not an issue, but its very close to Ulverston itself where there are several shops, cafes etc or an easy drive to other areas too.
Louise
Beautiful place and very friendly owner with some good recommendations for walks. Loved the animals and especially Meg coming to visit. Will definitely visit again.
Immaculate accommodation in the perfect setting, hosts are brilliant and very acommading. Brilliant for a relaxing get away or take on the local hikes alternatively use as a base camp for the longer hikes. Old man coniston was only 20mins away. Then of course to top it off we came back and recovered in tha jacuzzi. Coniston town had a great selection of shops restaurants and Pubs so prefect for everyone! We will be definitely be back! Thank you Lowflan farm!

The Pod was lovely, very cozy and relaxing. But there was nothing in the pod, no tea bags no milk, no toiletrys shower gel shamp and conditioner nothing. Also No one told us check out was at 10AM and we felt like we were rushed to leave the Pod. We expected more for the price we paid. Apart from that we had a lovely time, the farm animals are so friendly and the hot tub was amazing.
This was our second time staying at the Low Flan Farm Retreat and it was just as amazing as the first time. The Pods have absolutely everything you need appliance wise, the hot tub is amazing and cleaned daily and the views are incredible. Not too far a walk from the centre of Ulverston, but just far away enough that you feel secluded. I would 10000 recommend. Carol & Ian are both amazing hosts and couldn't ask for more! Thanks Low Flan
Wonderful pod with hot tub. Extremely clean and tidy on arrival , lovely furnishings , everything you need . Hot tub amazing , lovely quiet area with short walk to local town . Idyllic
Alexandra
Very, very clean , perfect for enjoying a bit of quiet to recharge yourself. There are plenty of things to visit during the day and perfect to relax in the evening with the bathtub. Totally recommend!
We had a lovely time at cherry over the Christmas period. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming. We were greeted at the pod and carol had even made Christmas cake for us to enjoy! The pod was lovely and warm and absolutely spotless. The bed was comfy and the hot tub worked perfectly. Our little dog had the best time playing with the farm dogs and we would love to visit again. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Mollie
Absolutely amazing stay. Carol and Ian couldnt have been nicer. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Caitlin
Amazing stay the owner was so helpful recommending walks for us and the dog and always onsite to help with any problems
My girlfriend and I had a lovely 3 day stay with our dog The pod was spotlesssly clean and well equipped, and is in a great location, close to good walks in the lakes and Ulverston has plenty of options for food if you want to eat out or get supplies to stay in the pod. We used the hot tub every night, it was fantastic! Watched the cows coming in for the night sitting in the tub with a beer in hand! Extra towels were provided for the hot tub as well which was handy. Very dog friendly. We'd love to come back!
Stunning location, really nice cosy pods. Everything you need, hot tob was perfect for two
Me and my daughter had a lovely stay here, with our dog. Great place very clean and tidy, owners are lovely. The views were incredable, location was great 5 minute drive into Ulverston or a 20 min walk. I definitely would recommend , we will be returning soon.
Rebecca
We went here for our minimoon it was just perfect for relaxing, the hot tub was amazing at night star gazing and enjoying the scenery. The couple that run the place are so lovely and friendly we will be going back again. it is located just 1 miles away from the town which is perfect.
Really enjoyed our three night stay. We would definitely recommend to others.
Olivia
Very lovely stay we couldnt believe how kept the cabin was and how clean it was. Not a crumb in sight and smelled lovely. The lady that owns the farm is also very nice and talkative and gave us some good recommendations for where to eat. Would definitely go again 100000
On arrival we we're shown to our cabin by the lovely owner. The cabin was presented immaculately and felt so cosy inside. The scenary from the cabin was lovely and relaxing especially when sat in the hottub. The tub was also spotlessly clean and we loved spending the evenings soaking off all the walking. The location is lovely and quiet but also easy to access and a short walk into ulverston. Although we had a couple of days of rain can't be helped we had the best week and didn't want to go home. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a lovely cosy and relaxing stay in the lakes.
The most comfiest cottage surrounded by the Prettiest scenery, Carol was lovely and welcoming. Just made the trip perfect
Lovely place lovely location super helpful and nice owner
We cannot rate this place highly enough, stunning relaxing setting, lovely wellkept facilities, lovely owners who went well above and beyond. Truly stunning and relaxing countryside, but only 1 miles drive to the local town with local amenities including big supermarket, pubs, takeaway etc. We travelled from near Leeds with 2 kids and a dog for a 2night stay May23. The log cabin itself is surprisingly roomy and allowed for a travel cot to be erected no problems. WIFI was good. Included basic kitchenwareutensils and bathroom towels. The owner also gave us an outside pitch lead for the dog which was very helpful. Cabin, hot tub and grounds all lovely. Great location to drive to various places the Lakes have to offer. Owners are lovely people, really welcoming and even letting our kids have a sit on the tractor and enjoy ride on the quad bike! Made it very special for them thank you! We will certainly be coming back next year!
Kayleigh
We had a wonderful time in Cherry last week. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need to a relaxing stay. Hosts were extremely helpful and the hot tub added a much needed treat. Will definitely hope to return one day.
Daniel
Fabulous stay, would certainly recommend! The owners of the farm were very helpful and friendly, even let my girlfriend hold and bottle feed a lamb! The cabins are fantastic, hot tubs are brilliant, and its so peaceful at night we stayed in the hot tubs for hours. We are potentially looking to go again this year in augustSeptember.
The pod was cute and comfortable. The hot tub was perfect. The scenery was breathtaking and the owners were fabulous! However, I would recommend taking extra carrots for Charlie and Mindy the donkeys
Reachelyn
We stayed at the Cherry cottage for 2 nights. If we just had time we could have extended our stay there. It has all the things we needed. My eldest son loves the hot tub and that's the only thing he was looking forward after a day of exploring the lakes. My youngest son 2mos was very comfy cosleeping with me in the sofa bed. He slept through the night and stays asleep while I feed him in between. The only down side that we could see is that the pod shares the same gate as the farm so everytime we have to go out somebody needs to go down and open and close the gate. It was a bit of a hassle for us since my husband who's driving needs to do it. It could have been better if there was a separate entrance not gated for visitors.
Amazing place to stay.

South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU
about 4 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Happy Mount Park - LA4 5AQ
about 13 Miles
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH
about 13 Miles
Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
Rydal Mount & Gardens - LA22 9LU
about 17 Miles
Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
Ullswater Steamers - CA11 0US
about 23 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
