Had a great weekend lovely cottage, Balloch is an excellent place to escape for the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Good location, nice place to stay but could be so much better with some small touches! Some soft furnishings like curtains, rugs and some wall art would help with the echoing and the cold feeling. Would recommend some extra touches like a welcome basket, plus even useful bits and pieces like tin foil, cling film and even a dog bed would have been nRead moreice. The low wall outside not good for the dogs. The washer and dryer were useful So much potential, just needs to be made a little more homely. Hide

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. The cottage was amazing. They are in a great location - short walk to town where there are plenty pubs and places to eat. The cottage had everything we needed, they were spotless and there was loads of room. Highly recommend and we will defo be back.

lovely place to visit but dont book if you are going for a hot tub weekend (as we were). The cottage itself is in a spectacular location, decorated and kitted out to a high standard with good facilities and was clean. Unfortunately We had major issues with the hot tub, this could only use from the Sunday morning due to it being very cold (no steam)Read more. We notified Hayley, the maintenance man and James of this however this was met with no solution and this did have an impact on our weekend. Hide

Lovely cottage. Having a hot tub was an extra bonus. Lovely walks nearby. Any issues owner was available to contact.

Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The hot tub was perfect after a day of cycling! One thing to be aware of, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, and so there's a lot of aircraft noise. It only to ok us a couple of hours to get used to it and it didn't spoil our holiday at all, but something to be aware of if you're sensitive to noise.
Sarah
Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location. Ideal to escape and relax. Hot tub was amazing and the cottage was immaculate with everything you needed. Lots of walks close by and within the village reach. Had such a wonderful time. Couldnt recommend enough.
Jan
Little Gem - Beautiful Cottage with everything you need, you dont need to bring anything. I overloaded the car not realising how well equiped the whole cottage is. Welcome pack has all information you need to know about the cottage and menus which was very well thought out. Thankyou for the little extras for our dogs and us. Owners, Sharon and Robe rt very quick to respond if you need to ask anything. K9's loved it - enclosed garden a bonus. Hot tub amazing. Thanks for the lovely break.
