The property is set on a smallholding: guests are welcome to help collect the chickens’ eggs or visit the resident ponies. Entering this bright, colourful and vibrantly decorated cottage you will find a charming lounge with Smart TV, comfortable seating and a wood burner, making this a great space to unwind at the end of an exhilarating day. Exploring further, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner makes a relaxing central living space with plenty of seating, a Smart TV, an inviting dining area and fully-equipped kitchen so you can cook your favourite meals. The ground floor also features a twin bedroom which can be made into a super-king-size on request, as well as a shower room with a level access shower cubicle and WC. A quirky spiral staircase leads from the kitchen/diner up into the light and airy first-floor master bedroom. This cosy and spacious double bedroom features exposed ceiling beams and window seating offering glorious rural views. There’s also an en-suite bathroom with double-ended bath and WC. French doors open out from the dining area onto the enclosed patio, which has a spacious four person hot tub, BBQ and outside furniture so you can dine alfresco. Please note that the private hot tub is charged at £135 per week or £90 for a short break, payable directly to the owner. There’s also an enclosed garden to the side of the cottage. Secure bike storage is available, and there’s off-road parking for two cars.

Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.

Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
