I can't recommend Whitehouse Country House enough - it's a gorgeous escape to the countryside that is spacious yet cosy and has the most incredible views. With kind and hospitable hosts and a fantastic location, this was the ideal break for our group. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely host another event here in the future!

The setting is spectacular, and the owners have taken care that all the needs of a vacationing family (3 adults, 3 young children) are met. The rooms /baths are spacious and well-appointed. Loved our stay here. The house is large which is great if there are a lot of you, bedrooms comfortable and clean although could be doing with tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Bathrooms large and tastefully done. Nice touch from Angela leaving us a selection of eggs, bread etc on the kitchen for us. I believe there are upgrades planned for the house which is good as there are a few items needing looked at. Hot tub was a nice touch although temp only went to 37c , so not really "hot"

The admission fee is excellent value and you will get a free bag of food for the animals and a bag of fish food for the trouts in the fish pond. When you want a bite to eat, the licensed restaurant is the place to go with quality home cooking and a charming location in some of the converted farm buildings.
