Large cottage, plenty of space for the 10 of us. Different parts of the group could have independence or we could all sit around the large tables. Beautiful setting, lovely views, friendly owners. Well situated for the border towns and villages. We found something different each day satisfying a multi generational family.

We have rented many vacation properties. This was, by far, the only one that has made us feel like we had arrived home. The setting is spectacular, and the owners have taken care that all the needs of a vacationing family (3 adults, 3 young children) are met. The rooms /baths are spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen is well-stocked with essenti als. The location is excellent with markets and many historic sites only a short distance away. It was definitely a 5 star vacation home.
Ruth
We had a wonderful family holiday. The kitchen was a lovely space to cook, eat and play games around the table. We also enjoyed having a special meal together in the dining room. The kids livingroom went down a treat and they loved the cinema telly and recliner seats. The hot tub was also a hit.

Beautiful house which we would recommend to anyone! Great location and local restaurants nearby for dinner. Beds are very comfortable and very clean linen and towels. Plenty available for everyone. Lots of dishes etc in the kitchen. Hot tub was lovely and the kids enjoyed that! We used the garden furniture and sat outside as we were lucky enough to get good weather. Perfect place to relax with family

We had a wonderful stay over New Year as a group of friends and our dogs. The house is beautiful and very grand, with amazing views from the hot tub over the rolling borders countryside. A great place to unwind. Angela was a very attentive host and was only ever a text away.

A wonderful house: warm, well equipped and spacious. The house was wonderfully decorated for Christmas and communication with the owners was great and made for a relaxing stay. The space was wonderful for two families of 4. There were great walks locally along with welcoming pubs and restaurants just a short drive away. Highly recommend.
Martin
very spacious and lovely cottage. plenty of room for large groups. good setting with east access to places around and surrounding areas. lovely views.
Henry
Loved our stay here. The house is large which is great if there are a lot of you, bedrooms comfortable and clean although could be doing with tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Bathrooms large and tastefully done. Nice touch from Angela leaving us a selection of eggs, bread etc on the kitchen for us. I believe there are upgrades planned for the house which is good as there are a few items needing looked at. Hot tub was a nice touch although temp only went to 37c , so not really "hot"
Dawn
Absolutely fantastic place for a family get together. Will definitely be back very soon.
