Do not be put off that its next to a main road, we could barely hear the traffic, apart from the odd few noisy motorbikes. Very nice house and garden. We enjoyed the hot tub which was very easy to use. This dishwasher was broken at the time of our stay (August 2024).
Anna
The house is beautiful, well equipped & clean - perfect for an extended family group. For those bringing a smaller sized dog, the garden wasnt fully enclosed behind bushes. Had a lovely stay with my family. We took our 6 month old and our dog and everyone had what they needed. The beds are so comfortable! The garden is lovely. Not far from the beach as long as you dont mind a sloped hill walk home.
Gilbert
Spacious and comfortable with a great garden space.
Andrew
Well equipped house. Comfortable, lots of space. Handy location for strolling down to the front, or walking down to Bexhill Old Town. Quiet, even though it overlooks an urban dual-carriageway.
Ben
What an amazing space right in the middle of Bexhill old town. Plenty of space, both inside and out and really well presented. We were staying with and meeting up with family who live locally and this accommodation provided the ideal hub for us.
Zoe
Wonderful property for entertaining guests and for socialising. We stayed as a group of 8 with 2 dogs and the place was wonderful and fully stocked with dinnerware and cookware. Super clean and spacious! Hot tub fantastic
Christopher
We had a nice stay here despite some pretty bad weather. The house is spacious and comfortable, and the garden is really nice and big. Barbecue not really usable and there were no logs for the hot tub so we didnt get to enjoy that very much. Lots of places to visit nearby and there are plenty of shops within walking distance.
Siobhan
We had a wonderful long weekend at Belle Hill, the house is charming, well-equipped and really comfortable, our dog was also very happy there. What a great find. This home was very tastefully furnished and felt like a real home and not just like a holiday let. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and bedding, and lots of sociable areas around the house. Support from the owner during our stay was excellent and we would definitely recommend and revisit again.

Lovely 3 night stay recently at this beautiful house and gardens. Very well equipped for every eventuality, come rain or shine. Good base for Hastings, Eastbourne and surrounding areas. Welcome pack on arrival which was a very nice touch and very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Andrew
Excellent accommodation and superbly equipped. Its about a 10 minute walk to the shops and then another 10 to the seafront. Its a bit of a climb up to the house from the street by the stairs, but there is a ramp as well. Quite near the A259 but it didnt bother us. Excellent garden and hot tub. Parking off street was not an issue. No complaints.
Katrin
It's a beautiful house. Bexhill is a crazy little town. There is enough space in the house for a large family. We had a good time. The garden is great, lots of space for children and pets.
Wendy
Our second stay here - 4 older adults, 2 young people with their 3 year old - and we love it as much as last year. The home is spacious and relaxing. The kitchen is beautiful & well equipped. The garden is large and and the bbq area is super with comfortable seating. Thoroughly recommend the property.
Oliver

Anne
This was a really lovely house and all seven adults enjoyed themselves. Thank you
Janet
We really enjoyed our stay at Belle Hill. The house and garden were just fabulous. and so well equipped! The house and its location were perfect for our family get together. We notified the owner that we couldn't find the Bluetooth speakers and two arrived the very next day; couldn't have asked for better service.
Harriet
The perfect weekend break! The house is immaculate and within walking distance of supermarkets, shops and restaurants as well as the promenade. The hot tub was a great added touch. A brilliant setting for a chilled get-together, would highly recommend.
Martin
We live in Switzerland and drove to England to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday. Although a little daunted on arrival at the state of the outside steps, inside the house is an absolute gem, decorated, furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard. The kitchen-diner area is fabulous. February is not really the time for alfresco living but the enclosed garden was also a joy to stroll in. We would thoroughly recommend Belle Hill 44 for a visit. Thank you. ps. LOVED the "slimming mirror"
Sarah
We had a fabulous holiday. Was fantastic for the kids and the dogs. They had thought of everything. The only suggestion I have it would be great if there was some lighting near the hot tub. We have created lovely memories at your lovely house.
Rachel
Couldnt ask for a more beautiful, well presented and warm house. Stairs at the front were a struggle for my 86 year old mom but found there is a slopped path down to the garage which was much better. Big, spacious garden that was secure for the dog, and the Rocksalt pub by the seafront is well worth a visit. Good place for a base to travel to diffe rent places.
Peter
A beautiful house, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The garden is lovely with a great BBQ area and the hot tub is a big bonus which we enjoyed using during our stay. A short walk to the seafront, shops and restaurants of Bexhill and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended.
Carol-Ann
Well furnished and equipped. Steps and narrow access could prove problematic for some. We had a 92 & 82 year old in our party & managed (just!). Had 2 cars and 2nd car sometimes had to park a considerable distance from house due to lack of other parking space.
Sam
Great house. It says towels provided but I would take your own too, especially if you want to use the hot tub.
Julia
Lovely house/garden near to sea. Was surprised to see busy A road at front of property but in all was a good stay.
Kirstie
Lovely house, really comfortable with plenty of space for a large family group. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a week away, and has a lovely large and secure garden for kids and dogs.
Roy
A very comfortable and convenient house which can be recommended without reservation.
Wendy
6 adults + infant. We loved the house- spacious and well laid out, tastefully decorated to a high standard yet comfortable, so we all felt relaxed. Garden was perfect-safely enclosed for our 2 year old, the hot tub used twice & quiet shady nooks for the grandparents to escape to. The Bbq area was brilliant-comfortable cushioned seating. We ate out there every night as it was so hot the week we were there. Lots to do round Bexhill but we were happy just to go to the beach, its a 10 mins walk.
Katie
A beautiful house with stunning garden, I would highly recommend for groups and families. Particularly in the summer as you can spend time enjoying the huge garden and hot tub!
