Forge House is lovely accommodation in a beautiful quiet location. Lovely views and lots of outdoor and indoor space. Lucy, the owner, was most helpful if there was a problem. There is a wide variety of places to visit within a short distance, including the coast. Perfect for a family get-together.

Lovely house, location and we all had a fabulous weekend. Would totally recommend and will definitely come back another time. We all loved every second . Thank you so much. The hosts were great, responded quickly and were very kind and helpful. Whoever books this place will not be disappointed.
Louise
A beautifully designed and renovated old forge with the most fabulous setting and views. Quiet, surrounded by stunning meadows and wild flowers. A place to unwind. The electric trains were close by but infrequent and not a problem. 4 bathrooms and lots of bedroom options meant our blended family groups and dog all fitted in . The kitchen diner withRead more folding doors and patio, was an excellent place to cook and hang out. Thank you to Lucy and Giles for sharing their beautiful home. Hide
Emily
Beautiful location to enjoy the countryside. Very well presented with lots of thoughtful touches. Very bright kitchen/diner with plenty of space for both adults and kids. Enclosed garden and lots of different walks starting from the property. Highly recommend a visit to Forge House.
Diana
We spent a truly lovely long weekend here with 3 generations of our family, aged from 9 and 81. The location was idyllic, facilities and cleanliness great, and house incredibly comfortable. Future visitors with dogs might find it useful to know that the garden is not fully fenced and there is an abundance of wildlife around (but that wasn't an issuRead moree for us). Forge House was a fantastic base to either explore the local attractions or just soak up the peace and quiet of this beautiful area. Hide

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Forge House for my 50th birthday. The property inside and out exceeded expectations and the view and surroundings were beautiful. Forge House is truly beautiful. The location is one of a kind, we sat in the kitchen and watched deer go past in the field behind. It is peaceful, well equipped, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We stayed here for a friends bachelorette and had the most amazing time together. Youre only 15 mins from Bewl water and Bedgebury Pinetum, great walks right out your back door and a lovely hot tub to relax in after. Our hosts were very helpful and welcoming, thank you for such a great stay!
colin
A wonderful cottage with exceptional spaces and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Even plastic cups and glasses for use in the hot tub! The downstairs areas are brilliant from the concertina dorrs in the kitchen/dining area to the large bee room with log burner. All the bedrooms are well equipped with two having en-suite facilities. The annex is brilliant for teenagers and the surrounding fields are a joy to behold. After heavy rain the fields become a lake which is wonderful.
Philip
Great place, great views, Lucy and Giles lovely helpful owners.
Kim
Really lovely well laid out house. The bedrooms are all really good sizes. Its pretty remote so extremely peaceful! Shops and pubs are all a 10/15 minute drive but train station is only a 5 minute drive with a nice cafe. Well equipped and maintained well!

Wow! What can I say? A fabulous weekend with friends in this beautiful home! The setting was stunning and tucked out the way meaning complete privacy and not being worried about the neighbours as we were sitting in the hot tub chatting until the early hours. The house well stocked with essentials such as salt/pepper oil etc. and complimentary shamp oos. We also arrived to a beautiful basket of treats including a bottle of wine! Perfect for a holiday with family or friends! We hope to be back!
Chris
The location immediately made us feel like we'd got away from the world and was very calming. The house makes an immediate impact with a clean, modern and light kitchen and dining area which was the hub of socialising and cosy sitting rooms for relaxing. Bedrooms were all very nice. The garden is large with a great panoramic view across fields. We saw deer, woodpeckers and plenty of small birds. The firepit was great to sit around and chat. A starry sky away from city lights was a bonus.
Sinead
Fantastic weekend spent in a beautiful home. The photos do not do this house justice!! Would definitely go back
Carolyn
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Forge. The house was perfect in every way including the garden and surrounding countryside. There was plenty of space in the house for 14 of us and all our needs were provided for. It was very clean and well kept. The garden was lovely and the hot tub was a treat. The location was good for countryside walks and we enjoyed a ride on the train as an alternative transport as the station was in walking distance. We will definitely stay there again!
Joanna
Really fantastic property in a beautiful secluded countryside location. We stayed here for a big family gathering with range of ages and it worked really well. Kids loved the bunk beds. Rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Lounges were comfy spaces to relax. Hot tub was an added bonus. We enjoyed making a fire every evening in the ga rden. Loads to see in the local area, lots of national trust and beautiful Kent countryside in the surrounds. Would highly recommend this house!
Laura
