The only thing I can add is that I wish there was a SIX STAR option for Westwick. My family stayed over the Christmas holiday 2023 we just wanted somewhere nice and comfortable to relax, rewind and gain our strength for the year ahead. Westwick ticked every box. The owners have thought of pretty much everything, and many other things that I wouldnRead more't have even considered. Excellent value for money and great location for the beach. A comfortable, well-equipped house with plenty of space for family meals or games in the conservatory, a sheltered garden and big hot tub. Easy access to Rye, and other interesting places, National Trust houses, and countryside. Bus stop outside property so no need to take the car if you p refer. We had a super time.
Alison
Lovely cottage, well equipped and cosy hot tub thoroughly recommended, would return no issues.
Annette
Good location close to beach and generally well equipped. A Christmas Tree had been put up, there were lots of games supplied and the welcome pack of food was very good. However, when we arrived (22 December), heat was not on and house was stone cold. This spoilt our initial impression of the house and it was not fully warm until the next morning. A few issues: a garden step needed replacing; freezer and wine cooler badly needed defrosting; extractor hood filter needed cleaning.
Kim
The hosts at Westwick are very accommodating; we arrived at our winter holiday to find a lovely bottle of cava and some cake and cookies waiting for us. The house is cosy and warm and the beds are very comfortable. There are many gorgeous walks to be had. Westwicks garden is not so accommodating in the winter; it is smaller than in the advertised p ictures and does not entertain winter holiday people despite having a hot tub but being so close to the beach makes up for that. Very relaxing time.
Claudiu Alin
Amazing place for a relaxing holiday even if its only for one weekend. Comfortable, welcoming, clean place and the best part its the hot tub!
Adam
Absolutely fantastic stay and never stayed at such a highly equipped house. Great for dogs too and the beaches are just unreal for poochies!
Richard
Had a great time at the cottage and surrounding area. The outside of the property looked a bit tired / in need of a jet wash. That may have just been because it was end of season. Comfortable place with lots of room and well equipped.
Mark
A great location right near the beautiful beach. Lovely walk on a promenade with far reaching views on a clear day. We went slightly out of season so a little quiet. A short bus ride into Rye if you want more shops and bars.
Nicola
Great location for the beach, out back gate slight walk and fabulous beach that is perfect for walking, bathing and felt safe as you could paddle up to knees for ages at high and low tide and lovely hot tub. The cottage had everything you can ask, towels for all plus the dog brilliant, facilities all excellent, good instructions for hot tub and whe re to find items, good lighting outside for the darker evenings and a torch! Lovely sized cottage, lots of places to visit nearby, would stay again!
