About Angarrack Farmhouse

Nestled in the peaceful village of Angarrack, close to the glorious beaches of Hayle and Gwithian, this beautiful, rendered farmhouse sits in pretty gardens. Wonderfully homely, guests are made to feel immediately welcome; stepping through the front door into the charming dining room will feel like you have come to a true home-from-home.

In the lounge, squashy leather sofas huddle round a cosy open fire and there is a selection of books to choose from. The country kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need for preparing hearty family meals.

A family bathroom is located on the ground floor, and upstairs, there is a gleaming new shower room as well as four restful bedrooms. Accessed via a laundry room in the cellar, the sheltered farmhouse garden is a fabulous asset!

The large lawn provides a lovely, safe space for children to play, whilst the impressive sun deck with private hot tub and fitted gas barbecue offers a fantastic place to enjoy long summer evenings together. The village of Angarrack has a friendly community and traditional country inn, and is just a short drive from the long golden beaches and grassy sand dunes of Hayle, Godrevy and Gwithian.

Popular with surfers and families alike, the beaches offer plenty of space for everyone and are worth a visit whatever time of the year you visit. The nearby town of Hayle is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as an RSPB reserve and the family-friendly Paradise Park bird and wildlife sanctuary with its wonderful indoor soft play centre.

We found the cottage comfortable, clean and well provided with everything you could need and more. It was peaceful, restful and well maintained. The hot tub was a blessed bonus and was well used. We loved the fact that the cottage was so old and not modernised, a true Cornish home. The bedrooms were light and airy and spotlessly clean. We loved all the homely touches, pictures, signs with lovely sayings, fish and beach ornaments. The garden had plenty of room to have a wander around and lots of outside things to do. It was all in all a very restful and enjoyable time for us. Thankyou

The place was big and tidy, felt like a proper vacation home. We would have loved to have utilised the hot tub more but there was so much to do and so little time. Its definitely worth coming back to.

Absolutely fantastic holiday, facilities were great, location was perfect. The property owners were so accommodating and went out of their way to make our holiday even better by providing extra toys, a stair gate, and travel cot for our children. Only small suggestion would be the mattress in the king size bed could perhaps do with being replaced it was quite dipped on one side but other than this we absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back again.

We had a great hol. Close to lots of beaches but in a lovely, quiet location. The house is very spacious, comfy & clean. Also well equipped & we enjoyed the bbq area looking over the large garden, plus the added benefit of the Hot Tub. Would thoroughly recommend it, especially to families with children. Lots of space to run around safely. The only downside was the Sky & internet connection, which we managed to get around by using our mobile phones to watch Sky films etc. Brilliant!! Would def like to visit again.

This is a wonderful, home from home farmhouse. Everything you could need and lots more. Great to have the hot tub and BBQ in the huge, well looked after garden, especially after a long day sightseeing. Plenty of toys and books for our 2 year old grandson to play with. Very central for touring around the local sights. Excellent local pub for food. Would love to come back again some time and would highly recommend to family and friends.

The property had everything you need very well equipped for the stay, lots of toys for the grandchild to play with and good facility's for the Adults. No complaints. The property is a little tired, doors need work to fit and upstairs bathroom toilet seat needs work, loose floorboards on the landing need work, could be a bit cleaner dead insects on window ledge, unfortunately the weather was cool during the visit so we had to use the heating which could have been better. Some updates and maintenance could bring this property to top standard.

A fabulous stay at Angarrack Cottage! We were able to easily check in and had no issues all week. A peaceful and beautifully presented home and provided the perfect base to explore Cornwall. A lovely local pub only a few minutes walk and some lovely days out at beaches and tourist hotspots such as Lands End. Probably the cleanest property we have stayed in, and we've stayed in a few. Nice pub with good food a few minutes walk down the road. The location of the cottage is perfect to explore as most places are within 2030 mins drive away. The beach in Hayle is beautiful. The owner and property manager were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic cottage,pictures do not do it justice ,the indoor space is perfect and to a high standard and the outdoor decking area has everything you need to relax,the village is lovely and the local pub has very good food. hayle itself is in need of an update but the beaches are superb 3 miles of lovely sandy beach and almost empty overall this is an ideal location to stay and visit the surrounding area or just chill out

Had a great week at Angarrack Farmhouse. This is a traditional comfortable accommodation with everything you could need. Wifi was fine for daughter who had to work a couple of days and the modern TV was great to watch the Euros football with Fatherinlaw. Outside, hot tub and bbq area is great to relax. The village is lovely and has a pub with great food only a few minutes walk away. The local beach in Hayle is beautiful and only 510 minutes drive traffic allowing. The housekeeper was also on hand and helpful if required. Would definitely recommend.

Really great accomodation close to the coast and shops. The lovely garden was the icing on the cake. We have booked again for next year.

The cottage was in a very convenient position to go out and about to different places and beaches, also the local pub served lovely food. The cottage met all our expectations and more, we would highly recommend it.

The quietness of the area was lovely with having two young children. The garden area was brilliant for time as a family playing games when the weather was nice. All of us were very happy with the property and facilities. We would highly recommend Angarrack Farmhouse and would even stay here again ourselves. The property manager was very helpful with everything and was available for any questions we had once we had arrived at the property and was getting settled in.

What a fantastic place to stay. The cottage is incredibly well stocked with everything you could wish for. Extremely spacious and comfy with a great size garden and bbq hot tub area. The location is quiet but with in easy reach of St Ives, Sennen Cove Carbis bay etc. Great location for shops too. Cant recommend this place enough. Would definitely go back.

Amazing!! Had everything we needed and more ! The cottage was so well stocked with essentials, garden was lovely, all the rooms were great sizes. Plenty of gamesskychildrens toys couldnt ask for more from a holiday! Location was good as well, we travelled to St Ives, Marizon, Newquay, Falmouth and other places. Plenty of supermarkets nearby as well and great pub within walking distance! Would happily stay again!

The house exceeded expectations , whilst the location isn't particularly scenic it is very conveniently located, and has everything you could want for a family holiday, would definitely consider booking again.

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages. You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
