Carrick Reviews

Derek
Place is unfortunately situated in a too rural location for me. Pretty and the whole site well maintained, but 4 miles of bad narrow lanes to nearest main road and village. Nowhere nice to walk near to property. Driving I found stressful in this location.
Roger
Lovely little cottage, easy access to pool building. Sauna was great, pool was clean and warm. Twenty minute drive to Looe and ten to Bodinnick (for the ferry to Fowey). Lovely beach at Millendraeth, about 35 minutes away. The site itself was incredibly peaceful.
Suzie

We had an amazing stay at Fox Valley cottages. The cottage was very comfortable, the pool etc a great bonus & loved the grassy huge area to walk the dog off lead with an amazing view from the top, where I sat on a swing every morning. Perfectly suited to our needs. Comfortable and clean. The facilities were ideal, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Small games room with some fun games. Pool, air hockey, table tennis and football. A great relaxing stay; quiet, comfortable, clean with some countryside views. Be prepared to get on your walking shoes or drive to locations, of which there is a lot to explore in Cornwall. The owners are on hand if you need but leave you in peace to enjoy your stay.
Adrian
We had a fantastic stay at Fox Valley Cottages, all you needed was in the cottage. Fantastic views across the area, and really peaceful. The swimming pool and hot tub was lovely to come back to, as was the facility to let the dog run free in the enclosed dog field!

Just lovely
Anne
We were very impressed by the attention to detail at Fox Valley Holiday cottages:starting with a cream tea on arrival and logs in the fireplace. The swimming pool and hot tub were a very welcome facility as the weather was rather wet and windy. We enjoyed playing table tennis and pool in the games room and although we were 2 adults it was good to s ee all the equipment in the play area. Ideal for a family with children although be prepared to drive to shops/pubs/beaches. Highly recommend!
