We spent a fantastic weekend celebrating a birthday at this place! The owners have really thought of everything, even during the winter months - we loved the hot tub and the big green egg BBQ. The house is fully stocked with all you could need, making it super comfortable. It’s ideally suited for outdoor meals and relaxing, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. It’s really a good place, super peaceful and perfect for a proper escape. We’d definitely go back!

We had such a lovely stay at Lower Cannington Cottage! The place is stunning and super well-equipped - honestly, we couldn’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t there. Even though it’s on a working farm, it’s tucked away in a peaceful, private spot, so you’d never guess anyone else was close by. Our kids loved the games barn and football in the gardenand we enjoyed peaceful walks across the fields to the local shop and pub. Finishing the day with a hot tub soak was perfectand everyone, from teenagers to dogs, had a great time whatever the weather!

We stumbled upon this gem in the heart of rural Devon and honestly, it was just what we needed. The kids adored the games barnand we really appreciated the cosy, sociable kitchen with that huge corner sofa-perfect for family movie nights. The peace and quiet were just incredible, only the cows wandering close by breaking the calm. Lovely walks nearby, plus a handful of shops, a puband a playground in the village. We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage, honestly couldn’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect, really peaceful but close enough to explore. The house itself is super cosy and felt like a proper home from the moment we arrived-there was even a bit of a tear when we had to leave! We brought our dog and a little oneand it was ideal. The garden is great for kids and pups alikeand there are nice little spaces just for pets or little ones to hang out safely. Definitely a spot we’d return to!

Just got back from a weekend stay and honestly, we loved it! There were 9 of us plus the dogand the cottage fit us all perfectly. It’s got that lovely balance of luxury and cozy comfort. The weather was on our side, so we spent loads of time outside in the gorgeous garden. If you are looking for a fun family day out with a difference then a visit to the Hedgehog Hospital is a great choice. While visiting the hospital children can learn about these shy wild animals and the dangers they face in the wild as well as how we can help them. The farm is a halfway house for sick hedgehogs and children can meet some of the animals that are almost ready to go back to the wild. The farm also has a gift shop, a coffee shop and a wildlife garden as well as a pet's area with Rabbits and Guinea Pigs.
