Really enjoyed our stay here! The cottages are spotless and well maintained, with lovely views from both the windows and the hot tub. The owners are friendly but respect your privacy. Beds were super comfy and the bedrooms felt cosy. Shops nearby made everything easy. Would definitely come back!

We loved the stunning lakeside views and the peaceful vibe. The hot tub was spotlessly maintained and checked regularly, which was a relief. Nice touch with the robes and the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuitsand cleaning stuff. The owners were friendly and helpfuland our dog had a great time exploring the lakes too. A really lovely getaway!
Emma
Honestly, we had a fantastic time! The place was kitted out with pretty much everything we could need for our two-week stayand honestly, it looked even better in real life than on the website. The little touches like milk and treats on arrival were lovely. Knowing the hosts were nearby if needed was reassuring, though everything was so perfect we didn’t have to bother them. The hot tub was a real highlight, making our holiday all the more relaxing. We’d definitely recommend it to others!

We had a lovely time at Otter Barn Lakes! The place was really spacious, which was perfect since there were 6 adults and our dog. The cream tea on arrival was a sweet touchand we appreciated the dog bed, toweland treats provided. It’s close enough to Launceston for takeawaysand we got a Dominos delivered through Just Eat - the kids loved it. It’s about 35 minutes to Boscastle and Tintagel. The DVD selection and games room kept us entertained, even though the weather was pretty rubbish, so we didn’t get to try the hot tub. Nice stay overall!
Ellie
We had such a wonderful stay at the Otter cottage! The three bedrooms and en suite were perfect for usand the spacious downstairs made relaxing easy. The dishwasher and washing machine were a real lifesaver. It was spotless when we arrived, with beautiful views and a hot tub on the terrace. We even caught a shooting star - magical! Truly excellent accommodation.

Honestly, we loved our stay at Otter Barn. It totally exceeded what we expected. When we first stepped inside, it was a proper wow moment - so spacious and bright. The views from the living and dining areas are stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus some extras. The beds were super comfyand the private terrace with a hot tub looked amazing (though we only managed to use it once because of the weather). Perfect spot for celebrating a birthday, no doubt!
Emma

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful barn. It’s tucked away in a super quiet spot, way calmer than the busy seaside resorts of Cornwall. The location is great for exploring-only half an hour to Bude’s beaches where we tried paddleboarding, coasteeringand swam in the crystal-clear sea. The trip to the Lost Gardens was a bit further but totally worth it. Lydford Gorge’s waterfall was stunning. Honestly, it felt like better value than staying right on the coast. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Emma Carter
We had such a lovely week at Otter Barn! The views over the lakes, especially at sunset, were simply breathtaking. Darren was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even better. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome cream teas and fudge. The location was perfect for exploring Cornwall and Devon, with easy access to the A30. Nearby Homeleigh garden centre was a bonus for breakfast and lunch, plus the farm shop was charming. Definitely recommend this place!
