Enter the property to find light-filled accommodation with ample space for everyone to spread out. Head through to the lounge to stoke up the wood burner and settle down to an evening’s viewing on the Smart TV. The kitchen/diner is a great space for cooking delicious dishes for your family and friends, then gathering round the table for lively holiday meals. There is a handy utility room and a WC in this part of the property too. At the end of each fun-filled day, wander off to the super-king-size room, which has zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins if discussed in advance, the king-size room or the single room, where a cot can be set up if discussed at booking. There is also a family bathroom. The shared, pool and hot tub building, with changing rooms and showers, is just up the driveway. The beautiful, enclosed garden is private and includes wooded areas, a BBQ for outdoor cooking and a fire pit, where you can sit out under the stars into the night. There is parking for two cars. Drive into Bude to go to the beach at Summerleaze, where you can swim in the sea and the tidal pool. You can also shop and dine out here. Roadford Lake, in the scenic Wolf Valley, is 6 miles away and offers fabulous walking routes, as well as water sports and other activities.

One of two stunning barn conversions situated on a 150-acre country estate close to the Devon and Cornwall border, Lamerton Barn offers guests the perfect base for exploring not only the glorious countryside of the area but also the miles of spectacular coastline. This is a special place. For a start the cabin is fantastic - a very appealing build with everything you need - but the beauty, tranquillity and privacy of the place is like nowhere else we've stayed (our two rescue dogs, who don't much enjoy meeting other people or dogs, would definitely agree!). The accommodation is small, but comfortable. It is in a beautiful location and is very peaceful. There is lots of wildlife around. If there has been a lot of rain or rain is forecast you will need your wellies as the ground was very marshy, muddy and wet underfoot.

Fabulous! A little bit of heaven in Devon! The pod was really well equipped, clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. We loved the setting and we couldn't believe we had so much peace and privacy. What an absolute gem of a holiday. We have just returned home and cant wait to rebook. The shepherds hut is great, set in your own 50 acres of land, over looking the lake. It is so peaceful and quiet, Rabbits, deer, owls right outside. Its fully equipped with everything you need and more, deck chairs, fire pit, kitchen utensils. I paddle boarded on the lake everyday, luckily we had a heatwave! We didnt use the pool as was on the beach everyday. Book this right now, you wont regret it!

A fantastic private retreat in a lovely beautiful setting. Also available to book sole use of is a pool and jacuzzi to top off that relaxing break. Just a short car ride from Bude and its fabulous beach. Lots of places to drive to nearby with great pubs and restaurants. Certainly somewhere you can wind down and take time to appreciate peace and wil d life.

We were looking for a relaxing holiday and we were not disappointed, the lodge is in the middle of acres of green fields with two lakes a waterfall and lots of wildlife. The owners could not have been more helpful, we would definitely recommend if you are looking to get away for a relaxing break. It is a 10 minute drive to the nearest town and 20 m inutes to Bude where there some great coffee shops and supermarkets.

A truly special place. Somewhere where you can escape to. A clean, cozy, well equipped & beautiful Pod An overwhelming view from wherever you are stood, from the edge of your own private lake or from the door of your car when you arrive. If you like the countryside, your fall in love with this place. From rabbits & deer roaming in the fields of whe re you are, to geese & ducks flying in to the lake. This is a new meaning to peaceful. Theres no place like WhiteCroft Lake. Absolutely stunning.
