We had a great holiday. House was well equipped, , very clean and worked well for our group. It's a listed building so can feel a little draftee but the wood burner helped a lot! If there are more than 8 of you then it's worth bearing in mind that there is a room off the shared bathroom There is a bathroom downstairs but not so accessible if the dog is sleeping in the link room to get to it! Snooker and air hockey table were well used as well as the jacuzzi. Our dog loved the garden!

Lauren
A beautiful stay! Myself and 9 friends had a great time celebrating my Birthday. Hot tub is fab, warm all day, refilled and treated every day by the host. Farm next door was fun to watch, if a little noisy sometimes in the day, smells pretty strong, but we're from the countryside anyway so didn't mind! We didn't disturb them (hopefully) and they di dn't disturb us. Very private place. Be careful of pot holes on the access road! I bust a tyre. Amazing historical building. Nice friendly host.
Amanda

Lovely place, spacious yet homely. Kitchen well stocked and owner is extremely friendly. We unfortunately were plagued by storm Eunace and lost power over our 3 days which meant we lost use of hot tub and dish washer! ( I was really looking forward to the dishwasher!) Lolxx Great place to get back to family roots, hopefully we will be back again on e day to see the farm and use the dishwasher!! And of course hot tub!
Deborah
We absolutely loved staying at Penwenham. Its a large property with rooms a plenty but it was also so very homely and comfortable. The welcome gifts for us and the dogs were very thoughtful and greatly enjoyed. Great location and easy to find, had a lovely meal at The Napoleon Inn in Boscastle, but other than that we just enjoyed each others compan y and chilled out together in this lovely property after a difficult 2 years of separation and Covid. A Perfect Weekend in a Perfect Property.
Sue

What an amazing house which despite losing several tiles during storm Arwen my family enjoyed a memorable couple of nights. Sharon was an excellent host -most welcoming and she organised the repairs to the several holes in the roof by the time we returned from a more than bracing trip to Crackington Haven Beach at lunch time. Highly recommended
