Splatt Farm Shepherds Rest Reviews

Emma
We had a fantastic weekend with the family, playing pool and relaxing together. Highly recommend for a cosy stay!
Emma
From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome and were really helpful throughout our stay. The cottage was lovely, spacious enough for all of us. The kids loved the park area-hope to return soon!
Emma
We enjoyed our stay overall, but there are a few things to consider. The cottage is lovely, but not ideal for families with young kids since the play area isn’t visible from the houseand under 12s can’t use the hot tub, which wasn’t clear in the listing. The fridge’s quite small for a group of ten, but the owners were really helpful and the fresh eggs and scones were a lovely touch. Definitely a nice place, just keep these points in mind!
Emma
Really enjoyed the comfy space and peaceful surroundings here.
Emma
Beautiful spot, lovely cottage, easy access. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return!
Emma
The house was lovely and spacious enough for three families, with kids having loads to do. We loved it!
Sarah
We had a lovely stay! The house was spacious, well-keptand very comfortable. The beds were cosyand the ensuite was a nice touch. The jacuzzi bath was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding. There’s plenty of space for larger groups, with enough beds for 10 and four toilets - really handy! The hot tub was perfect after a long dayand the log burner made the evenings extra cosy. Tom was super helpful, always ready with logs or eggs. My daughter loved the trampoline-definitely a place we’d come back to!
Oliver
Great vibe, comfy bedsand friendly staff all around.
James
We stayed in a really cosy place that was ideal for our family catch-up, including our adorable dog. It’s perfectly situated near Tintagel Castle, Boscastle, Port Isaacand Padstow-great for exploring and grabbing fish & chips! Loved the homemade scones with cream and jam. The Sunday lunch at the Elliot Arms was also lovely. Cheers!
Emma
Absolutely loved the place! Perfect for big families, super spaciousand our little grandson had a blast in the garden play area. Highly recommend! Would visit again.
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this cottage! The park was perfect for usand the neighbours even sold fresh eggs which was a lovely touch. Arriving to homemade scones with cream really made our trip special. Definitely recommend!

What a stunning house! It had everything we needed, super spacious and the bedding and towels were all clean. We absolutely loved the games room and the hot tub. The entire holiday was just amazing! It was for my sister's 40th birthdayand we created lots of family memories. We will definitely be booking to stay again, just fantastic!

Everything was just perfect from beginning to end! The service was super friendly and the atmosphere really made us feel at home. We can't wait to come back again and enjoy more of what they have to offer. Honestly, we had such a good time that we're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this place!
Donnie
This cottage is absolutely stunning and comfortably fit all 10 of us. There's plenty of seating and space for two families. It was super clean, with fresh towels and the beds all made up when we arrived. They even left us dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid, which was nice. Hand wash and toilet rolls were provided in every toilet, making it really well equipped. The scones and cream were a lovely touch as well. We would definitely recommend this cottage; we loved it!
Abbie
We recently stayed at this lovely property and honestly, the surroundings are just stunning. The host family were super friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s lovely and quiet, plus really safe for the kids to play around. We had the best week ever and would totally recommend it to anyone! The only downside for us was the shower pressure in one of the en suites, but there were two other showers and a bath available, so it wasn't a huge deal. Other than that, the house was really well stocked with crockery and kitchen stuffand we found it really comfortable. The sunset views were beautiful tooand the appliances were good. Ohand that hot tub? Absolutely fab!
Robbie
What a fantastic spot! The location is just perfectand it had absolutely everything we needed and even more. There was loads of space, which was such a bonus. We would definitely recommend it!
Clara
A very comfortable and spacious house that feels like home, perfect for families of all ages! We were made to feel really welcome and we highly recommend it for a relaxing break. The location is ideal, just a short distance from Launceston town and the coast, plus it’s so quiet yet only ten minutes from shops and amenities. The beds were super comfy, the bathrooms were greatand the fully equipped family kitchen was a real bonus. We were spoilt for choice with two lounges and felt cosy and warm thanks to the heating and log fire. We can't wait to return!
Hanna
The house had a lot of space and was clean and warm. We enjoyed the lovely rural location. The wood burner and hot tub were fantastic! The welcome pack inside the house was super useful. The owners were really good with communication and answered any questions we had during our stay. The only thing to note was the kitchen—it wasn't quite equipped for a large group. But all in all, we had a lovely stay.
