Sea the View Reviews

Elizabeth
Sea the view certainly has the wow factor. Stunning property. Very spacious and comfortable. Everything you needed was there to use. Its definitely not a criticism but when weve stayed in places for two weeks before, the beds and towels were changed midway through. All in all a perfect place for two weeks away and would recommend it to friends and family

We think property is overpriced. . Remedial work is required to outdoor fittings and woodwork .. Rear garden was mess when we arrived i.e. Artificial grass not cleaned off ... Upstairs bedroom balcony tiles not cleaned as had big stain in corner.. Moss on tiles also...
The property is well located for Sennen Cove, but the name sea the view is a bit misleading as it doesnt really have sea views. The rooms are very nice quality and design and a lot of thought has gone into it. The photos on the listing showed comfy outdoor furniture but this had been replaced with less lounge furniture which is obviously easier for them to maintain. So there was nowhere we could all sit and lounge outside the comfy corner sofa chairs were not there, the swing chairs had been taken down etc. So it wasnt quite as expected. The bed linen was lovely quality but the pillows were awful I get this is very personal but I had to go out and buy some as they were that poor and the main bed had a super firm mattress. We had problems with the main patio door not working which meant there was a gap when they were closed and as it is quite an exposed garden the draft and noise of the wind was quite annoying. In addition we had a day of driving rain which lead to a large leak flooding the floor under the picture window. Eating in all the basics crockery was there but for example there was no salad bowl or serving plates, so if you were wanting to do a nice meal in it was a bit basic. The addition of an electric charger was very helpful. It was lovely but overall for the high price I dont think it quite delivered.

We had a great holiday at Sea the View despite a week of windy winter weather. The house is very well built, everything is quality and the interior design is spectacular. The open plan layout worked really well for the four of us, and it was good having the hot tub even though we were sat in there in what felt like a hurricane one day! We have already booked to return in a few months.
The property looked even better in real life than on the website it's normally the other way round! . If I had to quibble, it would be that it would have been nice for some milk to have been left in the property for arrival. Other than that, we had an amazing time! Thank you! Steve & Debs xx
Amazing place everthing was perfect, stunning views.
What an amazing property, contemporary, quality with fabulous interior design, everything you could wish for! ! The garden is amazing too! Great location, just a stones throw from the beautiful Sennen Cove & all the places you want to go within 45 minutes travel. Just a shame the weather didnt match but thats the British summertime for you! Would definitely book again!! Without doubt the best place weve stayed in the UK & could not recommend highly enough.

A lovely modern property with many luxury features. Hot tub and electric vehicle charging main ones for me. Option for twin beds in one room was helpful also. Number of smart tvs meant everyone's viewing choices could be met and space for people to be alone or socialise as wished. Location convenient for local coves and beaches also shopping etc. A wonderful relaxing week for us. Highly recommended.

Beautiful luxurious property, will definitely return! ! The only thing that would have made it better would have been plugs near mirrors

Beautiful home, we felt bad when we left as we wanted to leave a few comments in the guest book but no one had a pen! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!! We actually stayed in one of these last year sea scape and as we love it in sennen so much we wanted to come back. Sea the View didnt disappoint, the bedrooms are beautiful and the bathroom and showers fantastic. The views are amazing too. Downstairs is lovely and the kitchen has everything you need. Couple of ideas for the new owners, it would be great to have a little bistro set to sit at outside, the big day bed and table isnt great for anything other than lazing back! Which we did lots of course! And maybe pop a little cafetire in the cupboard weve always had one in all the places weve stayed even when there is a coffee machine so it was unusual not to have one. The garden could do with a tidy up Im not a huge gardener but little things like pulling out the dead leaves really make it so pretty when youre sat outside. These are just little things tho, we had a wonderful time and will DEFINITELY be back!! Thank you!!!
Overall excellent place to stay
Lovely property and a good area to explore from
We can honestly say this cottage is beyond incredible. Location is outstanding. We have been to Cornwall a number of times but never this far South. We will definitely be back. Places to see and visit as a must are The last and first Inn down the road, great food and drink. Staff are lovely and dog friendly. Porthleven. A little harbour village 30 minutes away. Absolutely stunning location with wonderful beach walks, restuarants, shops, little market and pubs on harbour front. Sennen Cove is the best beach ever. The restuarant is fantastic the walk from Sennen to Landsend is a must. The views again are fantastic. Don't forget to look for the shipwreck! Lands End was again brilliant lots to do. Don't forget to get your photo by the point. Great place as a couple, or with children and again dog friendly. Thank you again. We can't wait to come back! 1010.

What an amazing place to spend a week. Excellent dcor and facilities so well appointed and comfortable ... We also bought our dog who thoroughly enjoyed himself. Very nicely situated for long walks down to the beach. You must make the 1st & Last Inn one of your visits very nice food very friendly staff. ALL IN ALL EXCELLENT!!!
Bryony
A fabulous stay what a property! Firstly, thank you to the property owners for such a wonderful arrival, a great start to our south west mini moon! All of the small details really made the stay something truly special and memorable. The views even exceeded expectations, I cant believe the 360 views you can get from every room. Well worth the trip from up north! Thank you
