Sherway Dairy Reviews

A lovely cosy cottage , which was warm and spacious. It was definitely a home from home. We had a lovely welcome from the owners Angela and John. We met their 4 rescue donkeys as well, who were living in the barn next to us. The views from this property are beautiful , even in the rain!! . Beautiful Sidmouth is not far away. This holiday cottage is perfect for a peaceful retreat .
Lovely property with everything you would need for a relaxing break. Hosts Angela and John very sweet and available if needed but not intrusive. Great views from house and hot tub. All in all great stay.

A stunning place to stay. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was clean and comfortable stay. Great views across the fields. Highly recommended and we will return.
This stay was truly a little slice of paradise. The owners John and Angela were the kindest and most welcoming hosts I have ever stayed with. My partner and I stayed over new years, and the views from this home did not disappoint! We had wonderful views overlooking the valley towards Exeter, with ancient woodlands and rolling fields surrounding us. The stay was cosy, incredibly clean, and the attention to detail was so appreciated. From the cupboard with books and board games to use during the stay, to the fully equipped kitchen which was fantastic to cook hearty meals in. The bathroom was spacious, and the bath was luxurious. Super comfy bed and pillows too! Our favourite aspect were the purebred sheep and friendly donkeys on site, who the owners very kindly introduced us to. Although we were not able to use the hot tub for the duration of our stay, the owners and Sykes cottages were extremely helpful with making sure we had anything else we could need. I would highly suggest this stay for any couples wishing to have a relaxing stay, with ample walks and adventures only a short distance away. I hope to return in the near future to stay again!
