The Studio Reviews

James
The place was super peaceful, just what we neededand easy to get to! Shops nearby were handy for essentialsand we ended up ordering a couple of emergency Deliveroo and Just Eat meals-brilliant!
James
The studio was lovely, really well equipped and spotlessly clean, plus it’s in a cracking spot near all the main beaches. We loved the location! However, we weren’t too happy about the fuel pack for the wood-fired hot tub-costs £42 and was supposed to last a week but only made it three days. We also found the logs much cheaper at the local shop. The TV kept losing signal quite often, which was a bit of a painand it seemed like the owner wasn’t too bothered about fixing it. Still, overall, a decent stay.
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! The studio was cosy and perfect for my husband's needs, making access easy. Julie was super friendly and helpful. The hot tub was a lovely touch. Next time, we’ll definitely bring our dog since everything around here seems very welcoming to pets!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay, Julie was lovelyand the studio was super comfy all round.
Emily
Honestly, we were a bit disappointed because the advert promised sunsets but the view is pretty much just the garden and the neighbouring property. The other holiday let is super close, so if you're both in the hot tub, you’re practically sharing the space! We also got charged £42 for logs, which only lasted about two days, so it adds up quickly. The bed was really comfy, but the sofa left a lot to be desired. We prefer privacy, but with another let nearby and the owners’ house close by, it felt a bit cramped. Still, the place had its charms!
Sam
The place suited us perfectly, with a great spot close to Hollywell Bay, Crantockand Newquay. We brought our German Shepherd for a break and really enjoyed the stunning coastline and local pubs. Definitely planning to come back again!
Sophie
We received such a warm welcome from the owner! The Studio was a lovely little base to explore all the amazing things Cornwall has to offer!
Emma
We loved the location, so peaceful! The hot tub was absolutely brilliantand Julie was really helpful throughout our stay.
Sarah
Absolutely wonderful! We can't say a single bad thing about our stay. So clean and up to date. They have thought of every little thing you might need and more. The host was really attentive and friendly.
James
This place is absolutely lovely for a relaxed getaway! We felt so at home and enjoyed every moment we spent here. The ambience is just perfect, making it easy to unwind and recharge. The staff were super friendly and really went out of their way to help us. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. We'll be back for sure!
Emma
The Studio is conveniently located within walking distance to some of the best beaches in Cornwall. Julie was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean. We loved the little touch with the Cornish tea. While we were there, we were celebrating my husband's 40th and Julie even treated us to a bottle of Prosecco! The hot tub was amazing. The log fire took a bit of getting used to for the perfect temperature, but we soon figured it out. Cubert has a lovely bakery, shop and fish and chips place.
Emily
Everything is just lovely! The beach is stunning, really perfect for a small family getaway.
Louise
We absolutely adored this property! It had everything we needed and was nice and clean without being cluttered. The hot tub was a blastand having towels provided was a real treat. The jacuzzi bath was super relaxing too. The hosts were really friendly and approachable, making it feel more like a home than just a holiday cottage.
Emily
This is a little gem of a property and we absolutely loved staying here! The location is in a lovely peaceful setting, right on the edge of Cubert Common, with an abundance of walks on your doorstep. Holywell Bay, Polly Joke and Crantock are all within walking distance. The property is simply wonderful, light, airy, spacious and very well equipped. The wood burning hot tub just topped off the relaxation at the end of the day. Julie, the owner, is so helpful and friendly on arrival. The property was spotless.
James
This property is absolutely amazing! The location is brilliant, just a stone's throw from several beaches. The hot tub is so relaxing and really adds to the experience. Honestly, it's one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in. We had a lovely welcome from the owner, who took the time to show us around the property. It literally had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back!
James
We stayed for a week and honestly enjoyed every minute! The hot tub was brilliantand we used it most evenings. The location is fine, with Trevornick just a short walk away where we made the most of the mini golf facilities. It's a shame the local pub in Cubert isn't open, but we found Woodys in Trevornick and the Smugglers Inn nearby. There's also a local Londis in Cubert, plus a great bakery and chip shop. The cottage is well equipped and in a nice quiet spot. We would definitely recommend it.
James
Lovely place to stay, with everything you need. The surroundings are stunning! The owner greeted us, which was really helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was fantastic. Overall, a lovely holiday with gorgeous beaches. Thank you!
Emma
What a fantastic stay at The Studio! Julie and Mike were so approachable and helpful from the start, we even had a lovely cream tea waiting for us! (Yum!). The Studio was just perfect for us; clean, fully equipped and in a lovely rural location not far from supermarkets and other amenities and attractions. We drove to Holywell Bay due to having a toddler (and all the beach kit we needed), but we did walk to Polly Joke...such a beautiful walk and bay! We'll definitely be back. Thanks Julie and Mike x
Mark
This is a fantastic place to stay. The hot tub is such a bonus! We'd definitely recommend it to our friends.
Emily
What a lovely place to stay! Julie, the owner, was super welcoming and even showed us around. The cream tea was such a nice touch too. Plus, it was really easy to get to Newquay and there are some beautiful walks nearby.
