Peaceful location, and the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. Plenty of clothes storage, indoor and outdoor drying facilities, lovely eco products throughout. Dog-friendly beyond expectations (we took 3) with doggy bedspreads, bowls, treats and poo bags provided (we took our own throws for sofa & chair). Books, board games, and croquet, and fresh produce from Dicks veg plot - the asparagus was marvellous! Stunning sunsets, dark night skies, owls hunting and hooting. Simply perfect

The hosts Suzy & Dick are very friendly and accommodating, it was nice to know they were there for anything if we needed it but we were given complete privacy for the duration of our holiday. Four ladies ranging from 54 - 65 enjoyed a two night stay in the cottage. Everything was perfect, January nights stargazing in the hot tub while drinking prosecco, what could be better than that! The cottage was clean, modern and very comfortable with everything you can think of provided. We loved the thoughtful bits such as candles, dog treats, poo bags and a bottle chilling in the fridge. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The view was absolutely stunning and we were lucky to watch the stars in the hot tub. Cannot wait to visit again.

The cottage is in a lovely peaceful location with great views across the countryside. It is well equipped for all kitchen needs, comfy bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Great hot tub, bbq and chimenea for outdoors living. The friendly owners are adjacent and helpful with tips on the area. There is plenty to do in the area but a car is essential.

HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! Area and views - amazing (sitting in a hot tub and watching sunset was magical experience), extra pet friendly place with lots of space for our doggo to run freely, equipment in the house - perfect and good quality, house itself - amazing and luxury! Great thing about this place was a book with local walks, timing of each walk, maps etc. We have been in few similar places this year and this one is our number 1! Absolutely perfect in each aspect. :) :) :)
Jeanette
Stayed here for 4 weeks. The cottage was an idyllic refuge in the heart of Devon countryside. Warm, cosy and peaceful. An incredibly well equipped Kitchen from great quality pans, knives, crockery to a pizza stone and a salad spinner! Large fridge and large freezer, hob, washing machine and dishwasher. Comfy beds.. BBQ and Chiminea if you are here in summer. The hot tub where you can gaze at the stars was heaven after a long day. Definitely recommend. Fab friendly and thoughtful hosts.
