Emma
We had a wonderful stay! The place is so peaceful and perfect for relaxing, with lovely walks and plenty of space. Bucky loved it too. Highly recommend for anyone wanting privacy and calm vibes!
James
We loved the tranquil vibe here, really peaceful with only some farm animals making noise. The fully enclosed space is perfect if you want complete privacy-no chance of bumping into others. The kitchen and lounge are well stockedand that hot tub is massive! The only thing is, the photos make the place look super vibrant and spotless, but in reality, it feels a bit tired-grass is overgrown and the outdoor furniture is rather basic. It just needs a bit of TLC, really.
James
Really enjoyed our stay, the Shepherds Hut is perfect for unwindingand we’d definitely suggest it to others!
Emma
The shepherd’s hut is quite unique compared to usual cottagesand it’s really charming. The view is stunning, super peaceful, perfect for just chilling out and unwinding a bit.
Jamie
We had a lovely stay overall. The weather was quite unpredictable, but the property really made up for it. The bed was incredibly comfyand the hot tub was a real highlight! Our dog loved running around in the big, enclosed garden and made friends with a muddy but adorable Springer who kept visiting us. The owners were super friendly, even leaving a bottle of fizz in the fridge, which was a nice touch. They also kindly agreed to our last-minute request for an extra nightand we finally got to see some stunning stars on the clear night. Definitely plan to return!
Jamie
We stayed at this lovely lodge for a week and really enjoyed it. The living space is quite spacious, with two toilets and a separate shower room at the back, which was handy. The shepherd hut bedroom was super cosy and perfect for relaxing. The views of the fields are peacefuland it’s tucked away down a quiet lane-no busy roads nearby. The hot tub was warm and invitingand the kitchen had a massive cooker along with a big dining table. We’ve stayed with West FaiRead morerleigh Holidays a few times nowand definitely plan to come back!
Lucy

Emma
We had a really nice stay at this quirky place. The garden was perfect for our dog, super secure and dog-friendly. The shepherd’s hut was cosy with a comfy bedand everything was spotless, including the hot tub. Just a heads up, bring a torch for those late-night trips to the hut. A bit of TLC wouldn’t go amiss, but overall, great fun!
Emma
Absolutely loved this place! The cabin is so spacious and well-equipped, perfect for relaxing with the dogs. Sitting under those dark skies for star gazing was magical. The photos don’t quite capture how lovely and quiet the area really is. We can’t wait to come back again!
Emma
Honestly, the place didn't match the photos at all. It felt tired and in need of some serious TLC - dirty windows, mould in the wet roomand a sofa that’s seen better days. The decking had hazardous holesand there were gaps around the windows and doors. WiFi was rubbish, no clear instructions for the hot tub or ovenand the place was just generally grubby. No proper welcome, no lock on the lodgeand only one jeyecloth for everything. Not impressed.
Lucy
We stayed here for a week and absolutely fell in love with the place. As soon as we entered through the gate we felt instantly grounded and connected to nature. It’s such a beautiful setting to unwind and forget about everyday life. There was plenty of space for our pooch Lola to roam around and explore. The hot tub was spotless and the bed very comfy. The hosts were really nice and their pooch came by to say hello a couple of times. We went to the Fisherman's Cot for a late lunch which was nice, although a slog to ride on the bike, though :)
Linda
A charming hideaway, really cosy. The hot tub with its fantastic views made it tough to want to go out and explore. Everything you need for a relaxing, chill time. We will definitely return. Thanks a lot Linda, Jonny, Meg and Bracken!
Sarah
