We loved the house with stunning sea views towards Wales. Perfectly placed for exploring Saunton Sands and Lynton, plus everything in between. Five of us and three dogs had a great stay. Owners nearby and really friendly-definitely planning to come back!

We loved the place! The garden was huge and perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a real treat. The property was spotless and well stocked. The only thing is, the twin room is a bit snug for two adults, so keep that in mind. Also, youâ€™ll need to drive everywhere since there are no pavements and the roads are quite narrow. Still, itâ€™s a lovely spot!

Itâ€™s very family-friendly, with a simple but homely vibe-perfect for young kids. The hosts were super helpful, even sorting out an extra cot and high chair on short notice. We stayed at this lovely cottage and really enjoyed the location - close to Tesco and some charming coastal towns. The upstairs suite was beautifully decorated and super comfy, with big beds that made for a great sleep. Sadly, the weather was pretty terrible the whole week, so we couldnâ€™t make use of the hottub, which was a bit disappointing. Managing the dogs in the carpeted lounge was trickyand a wider gate at the kitchen door wouldâ€™ve made things easier. Still, a nice spot for a summer break, I think!

Owls Barn is a lovely place to stay. The bathrooms are really top-notchand the kitchen is well-equipped. We werenâ€™t expecting the welcome pack, which was a nice touch. The living room is spacious with comfy sofas and that hanging egg chair is adorable! Having TVs in all bedrooms was a real bonus. The location is perfect, just minutes from Ilfracombe and some great pubs nearby. We loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Owl Barn! The location is perfect for getting around to all the local attractions, plus there are great takeaways and restaurants nearbyand the views are just beautiful. What a lovely cottage! The place was immaculate. The facilities were just right, with a hot tub and a beautiful big garden that had swings...and the views, we had no idea there was a sea view until we arrived! The location was ideal, with Ilfracombe and Woolacombe only a 10-minute drive away. Owls Cottage is absolutely lovely! It has a good-sized enclosed garden with the sea visible in the distance, nestled in a peaceful rural spot yet close to so many beaches. The place is beautifully presentedand we were greeted with delicious cream scones and bucksfizz. Just got back from this stunning Holiday Cottage Owls Barn Ilfracombe! The place is absolutely immaculate and so spacious, the wildlife around is super calming. The cottage is just like the photos showedand the owners are really helpful if you need anything. The hot tub was a lovely bonusand the cottage has lots of gorgeous features inside and the outside space is just so pretty, with room for private parking. We really enjoyed watching the quad bikers zooming up the sheep hill. The horses even came to say hello every day!

We stayed here for a week during February half term with two adults, two kids and a dog. The property is great and really spacious, with a lovely large enclosed garden. Everything we needed was providedand thereâ€™s a decent-sized television in the lounge, plus the hot tub was a nice bonus! The views of the sea and Wales beyond are stunning. It feels like youâ€™re in the middle of nowhere, which is a great thing for us, but youâ€™re just five minutes from a supermarket and just a bit more to the centre of Ilfracombe. Thereâ€™s a quad bike track nearby, but it didnâ€™t bother us at all as we enjoyed watching them.

The location is great, with many nice beaches within easy reach. We would definitely recommend! Just a note that Keypitts backs onto the garden, which we personally loved as we enjoyed watching the quads and had livestock behind the fence.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
