Westlands Reviews

Oliver
We loved the cottage’s spot right on the Tarka Trail, just a quick walk into Braunton. It was ideal for our group - 6 adults and 2 kids - to hit the beaches and squeeze in some surfing before the season ends!
James
Great house, had everything we needed, really impressed overall.
Jamie
We had a fantastic stay! The house comfortably fits three couples and our kids aged 9, 5and 2, with plenty of space to spread out. The enclosed yard was perfect for the little ones and the dog, plus the large TV and well-stocked kitchen made it really homey. We loved the proximity to the cycle path, making trips to cafes, restaurants, or Tesco so easy. The beach nearby is great, even if dogs can’t go on the main stretch. Overall, a super spot for families and furry friends alike!
Emma
We had a fantastic family weekend at Westlands! The house was super well-equipped and in a great spot for exploring everything nearby. Definitely coming back!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this spacious, well-equipped place. It was spotlessly clean and perfect for relaxing, with lots of room inside and outside. Sitting on a quiet lane with the Tarka Trail right outside was a bonus. The only thing to note is the nearby military base-loud bangs might bother nervous dogs. Still, we loved being just outside Braunton and close to Saunton Sands and Burrows!
Oliver
We often head down to Braunton to enjoy the Tarka trailand this place caught our eye because of its prime location right on the path. Honestly, it’s probably the best place we’ve stayed so far - so spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The house was just perfect for relaxing, even if the weather wasn’t great this year. We didn’t get to try the hot tub, sadly, but maybe next time! Thanks a lot.
James
We stayed at Westlands with a group of six for my partner’s birthdayand it was fantastic. The host was really helpful and kept in touch throughout. The house itself is huge, with super comfy beds and a lovely hot tub, which was a big plus. We didn’t realise there was a military site next door, but honestly, it didn’t bother us. The Tarka Trail is nearbyand the beaches are just a short drive away. Definitely recommend!
Emma
We really enjoyed staying here! It’s a great spot for the family, with a well-equipped kitchen and easy access to beaches, pubsand shops. The location on the Tarka Trail is perfect. Only thing to watch out for is no dogs upstairs, but still, we’d come back!

We had an awesome stay here! The house was super private but close enough to explore all the local sights and go for walks. The modern furnishings made everything feel fancyand the outdoor shower was a real bonus-so handy! The upstairs landing with the telescope was our favourite spot, even on rainy days. The owners clearly thought of everything to make our visit special. Would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic time here, especially with our dogs! The place was really well-equipped and felt secure enough for our German shepherd and the lab to run around freely. The location was spot onand the size was just right for us. The welcome pack was a nice touch too. Overall, great value for moneyand we’d definitely come back with the whole gang again!

We had such a lovely break, the weather was perfect! The hot tub and BBQ really made our stay special. The dogs had a blast exploring the dunes and splashing around in the water. We also discovered some cracking seafood spots nearby, plus a fantastic butchers and bakery in Braunton. Definitely coming back!
Mark
The place was really roomy and had a huge TV in the lounge, which was great. The kitchen was well stockedand there’s a nice pub just an 8-minute walk away. Just remember to bring some coat hangers - there aren’t many. The football goal wasn’t there, despite the pics, but overall, we loved it!
Jamie
