Copper Beech Reviews

Paula
Beautiful location and so peaceful. Attention to detail was spot on, couldn't have asked for anymore, everything you needed had been thought of. We had a wonderful week at Copper Beech, would love to have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend!
Andrew
What an absolutely brilliant bolthole for an escape from everyday life, 3 nights of absolute bliss escaping everyday life. Stars from the hot tub, breakfast under the canopy and smores by the firepit. The worst thing about Hydrangea Lodge was having to leave.
Allan
I just really enjoyed my 3 nights down here in the Hydrangea Shepherds Hut so why wouldn't I give 5 stars? All I'd suggest is to take some hand soap and shower gel as there isn't any there. The hot tub was hot, the hut was cosy and they even supplied my favourite biscuits and nice bottle of fizz. I went by myself this time but my girlfriend and I h ave stayed here together too. Great base to explore parts of Devon and just sit and listen to nature. Book it, just not for when we return!
Allison
Lovely setting and very comfy accommodation. The welcome pack that was supplied was a lovely touch too. Would definitely recommend.
Lesley

We loved staying in hydrangea lodge, it was the perfect cosy, quiet and calm place to stay. To wake up each morning to the beautiful views was amazing. The lodge is compact but has everything you need and the outside space is lovely. The hot tub was great and the outdoor seating pod was great for eating breakfast, reading or just sitting with a cup of tea. Ive already recommended to a few friends and would happily stay again.
Amy

The PERFECT couple's getaway! Upon arrival, our host provided a welcome basket with your basic needs such as coffee, tea, milk, bacon, eggs (homegrown!), crisps, bread, biscuits, and more. The hospitality of this stay was beyond what I've received for just a weekend getaway. We spent the nights in the hottub and saw many shooting stars under the cl ear sky. Hosts are responsive and had everything from towels, appliances, games - everything you would need for a weekend. 10/10 will come back!!
Frankie

Adele
Our stay at Hydrangea Lodge was perfect. The owners thought of everything we could have needed. The pictures dont do the views justice. The welcome pack left was lovely and hot tub ready to go on arrival! I couldnt recommend this place highly enough.
Rhys
Pod was fitted out in the highest quality furniture and equipment, it was a really nice place to be. Welcome hamper was a really nice touch. It was fully kitted out with towels, kitchenware, games, local guide books. The views are amazing from the front garden area. Hot tub was very good, and everything had been recently cleaned to a high standard. Arriving and departing was hassle-free, and location is great, just 5 mins off the A38, it's far enough away to not hear any road noise too.
Harry
The lodge was just amazing, I needed just a week away from everything and this was it, you can watch the stars at night and everything you need is in close distance.
Sheila
We absolutely loved the whole experience at Hydrangea Lodge. The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. The views from the lodge were stunning along with the sunsets. We really enjoyed our sessions in the hot tub looking out at those views with a glass of bubbles. We could also admire the views whilst having our meals. The lodge it self was very well equipped. The interior decor was lovely and all colour matching along with the theme of highland cattle.
Thomas
Beautiful snug pod in a picturesque location. Not too far from a number of beaches and amenities. All small details thought about from owners and lovely welcome basket provided. Perfect location for a romantic getaway with plenty of activities to do in the day locally. Would highly recommend and will visit again in the future!
