A great weekend getaway location! This place had everything that you could possible need, including extra amenities such as boardgames. Although the rain let us down, the views were still stunning and stargazing from the hot tub was a highlight from the trip. Info for local takeaways and pubs were all provided - The Avon Inn does a lovely Sunday ro ast. I'd also recommend Pennywell Farm as something to do in the day as it's only 10/15 mins away. Overall a great weekend away.
Charlotte
We have a fantastic stay in Fox Den (10-13th March). It was a last minute booking as our original accommodation was cancelled. The hosts were amazing, very helpful and respectful of our privacy. We absolutely loved our stay. The weather was not the best, but that gave us a great excuse to enjoy the hot tub and the very cosy and modern pod. We will most definitely be back.

Jonathan
Amazing few days away,Fox Den is a perfect getaway. We will be back. Recommend this place.
Kathryn
Comfortable and warm. View was lovely, we stayed in Fox Den, it was very private and we didn't need to close the curtains at night meaning we woke up to the views whilst having a cuppa in bed. Location excellent for Dartmoor and South Devon. We couldn't use the dinning pod as the weather was relentless (November) but the breakfast bar was adequate. Not a lot of space so don't pack too much! Wet room was a good idea to save space in the bathroom. Take binoculars for the views! We ate out.
Ana
Lovely cosy cabin with everything you can need! The vistas are amazing, the access is super easy from the motorway. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind and provided a very generous welcome hamper, which we loved. We had a great time in such a gorgeous place - just the right thing to get away and unwind from a busy routine. The hot tub is wo nderful and pristine, the fire pit is great - I got to try s'mores for the first time! We will certainly be recommending it to friends and family.
Jane
This was a much needed break, and it was a beautiful spot unspoilt, great scenery. The pod was fully furnished to a very high standard. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A hot tub every day was fab, and knowing it was refilled every resident was piece of mind. The welcome basket was amazing. Highly recommend ed. The neighbours (cows) were super friendly and added to the enjoyment. Close to everywhere, but far away enough to not be disturbed . Thank you
Paul
A pod for both a peaceful and a comfortable break. The view is frankly breathtaking. For once the postcode worked in the SatNav making easy to find as it's tucked away from the lane. The owners are both kind and friendly. I really couldn't have been happier. I shall return for sure.
Sharon
Stunning location. Immaculately clean and tidy and it had all the finishing touches that added to our perfect break. This included the welcome pack and bbq supplies which were all an added bonus.
Simon
Great place to stay and perfect location - quiet country location but within easy reach of towns such as Dartmouth and Salcombe (only 30 minutes away). The Fox Den is a really cosy place to stay with great view from the seating areas and hot tub.
