Cosy yet generously equipped and boasting a fabulous garden complete with gorgeous views and a bubbling hot tub, it has all the trimmings for an extra special staycation. Contemporary decor and attractive furniture provide comfortable spots for cooking, eating and relaxing, whether you are whipping up a delicious meal in the elegant kitchen or curling up to watch a film. Osmington Mills is a quiet seaside hamlet 1 mile away and it’s the perfect starting point for a wild and rock-strewn walk, where you can gaze across the horizon in the direction of Weymouth. It is easy to see why this stretch of coastline was so popular for smugglers as the hidden bays and coves made it easy to transport goods and lure ships to their fate. In contrast, Weymouth 5.5 miles away is a thriving resort town with a fantastic rapport for seaside entertainment such as a sea life centre, a historic harbour and plenty of bars and bistros on the seafront.

An amazing stay at the garden room. It is very private which is nice. We were amazed on how lovely the lodge is, very well equipped with everything you need (salt, pepper, hairdryer, hangers, tea towels, bin bags etc) and a guidebook which was very useful! A nice area too, the beach, pub, shop is not far at all, and a lot of places are only a short drive away, only problem if you are walking is there is no path on the main road. Over all really lovely, the hosts are lovely and happy to help.

The property was spotlessly clean and everything you could need was provided ,the owners were both very friendly and helpful, only minus point was path to property was very steep although the owners did provide a trolley for bags, would definitely stay there again

This lodge was amazing. Great sea views and was home from home. It had everything we needed. The owners were both lovely and the bottle of wine and big bar of chocolate was just perfect to snuggle up with on the first night. We cannot wait to return and have another relaxing holiday. The lodge is situated in a perfect spot to use as a base to trave l around and see the Jurassic coast. To sum up the lodge and holiday just perfect.
Sharon
Fantastic accommodation. Lovely and clean and modern. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again.
Jennifer
All the positive reviews are truly deserved. We booked our break based on the reviews previously left. The accommodation is immaculate and of a high standard with lots of little touches that make you feel welcome and at home. We were left a bottle of wine and a huge bar of chocolate on arrival. The hot tub and small ,private enclosed garden was ama zing and meant we could have the door open without worries of our dog wandering off. Lots of nice dog walks within a short distance.
Alison
The Garden Room was a pleasure to stay in. Close to all that was needed. A very relaxing break.
Samuel
Lovely place, quiet peaceful relaxing so brilliant
Andre
My husband and I stayed in The Garden Room in February. It was a lovely place to stay, super clean and fresh feeling. Really cosy and had way more amenities inside than I had thought I would find. The hot tub was private and always ready to hop into and the view was beautiful. As others have said, be prepared for a steep slope or steep steps to acc ess the property though! Although this was definitely worth it for the view. It was situated behind a private gate, so our car always was safe too.
Brian
Lovely building in a remote setting, but not too remote. Sea view is as described, sitting in the hot tub whilst watching Weymouth bay was lovely. Dark skies with little light pollution for star gazers too. Property was well catered for. Very friendly owners and a pleasure staying at the Garden Room. Would definitely recommend.
