The facilities within the house are excellent, the owners have thought of everything- in a very thoughtful way - if that makes sense - so there is no why is there no salt?? stress! A stunning house and gardens in a beautiful location. The house was luxurious and extremely well equipped. We felt very pampered. The hot tub was amazing with robes and slippers for every member of our party. Plenty of space for three generations and loads of activities to keep everyone happy.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
