The place is perfect for families. It was spotless when we arrived, Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking Living room had a lovely log burner with wood provided The rooms were spacious and comfortable, more than enough pillows and blankets for everyone. Our first cottage in Dorset and we think we found the best. The location, cottage and hosts all five star. We stayed during a very cold Dec week -1/2 during the day but sunny so enjoyed good walks every day either straight from the cottage or drive 20-30 minutes to a village and start from there. Good inns/pubs/hotels all around, but with the cotta ge being so warm & cosy and well equipped we ate in more than we had expected. If its this good in Dec we cannot wait to return in the spring.
