Hannah and Nigel have really created a wonderful barn conversion. Its lofty, cosy and luxurious, all in one. The views and walks from the cottage are breathtaking. The hosts are on hand to help with anything you need. The log burning hottub keeps its heat amazingly well and great to come back to after rambling and fossil hunting. It takes about an hour to get to the coast but there is also so much to do locally, you're spoilt for choice.

We had a wonderful week at Gallinae. The property is spectacular, with great views from the terrace (and from the hot tub). The best-equipped property weve ever stayed in, especially the kitchen. Dining table seats eight adults, the sofas are comfortable and so are the beds (four good-sized double rooms). Hannah and Nigel are excellent hosts, nothi ng is too much trouble, and full of local knowledge and recommendations. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cottage and would stay again.

You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme. This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island. And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see. This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online. This attraction is open until the end of October.
