We had a great weekend at Gallinae. It's a fantastic property with plenty of room for the 6 adults, 2 children and 1 baby in our party. We had a lovely walk using the path across the road and also enjoyed a couple of pub lunches nearby. Hannah was a great host and answered all of my questions before arrival promptly.

Hannah and Nigel have really created a wonderful barn conversion. Its lofty, cosy and luxurious, all in one. The views and walks from the cottage are breathtaking. The hosts are on hand to help with anything you need. The log burning hottub keeps its heat amazingly well and great to come back to after rambling and fossil hunting. It takes about an hour to get to the coast but there is also so much to do locally, you're spoilt for choice.
Richard
Very nice, large cottage, only recently opened. Complex with owners property and 3 other holiday properties, so could be busy if all full, but not whilst we were there. Hottub good and keeps temp well esp when lid on. Good fire and plentiful supply of logs. Large living space, although there were only 4 if us. Nice enclosed shared garden area for d ogs. Games area good. Near to Shaftesbury for shops and takeaway. About an hour from the coast. Overall good property to stay at.
Louise
Amazing location and property. Beautiful decor , spacious and all that you need to a short break away. Owners were really helpful and provided assistance during our stay on where to go. Hot tub is an added bonus with great views to relax in both morning and night. Beds were really comfortable which is a big bonus for me. Wonderful exhilarating walk s with the dog on the doorstep with amazing views. Will definitely return.
Howard
We had a wonderful week at Gallinae. The property is spectacular, with great views from the terrace (and from the hot tub). The best-equipped property weve ever stayed in, especially the kitchen. Dining table seats eight adults, the sofas are comfortable and so are the beds (four good-sized double rooms). Hannah and Nigel are excellent hosts, nothi ng is too much trouble, and full of local knowledge and recommendations. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cottage and would stay again.
