Perched in Pencarnisiog near Rhosneigr, Anglesey, is Cartref, a characterful, two-bedroom dwelling, sympathetically-restored to welcome a family of four. Within proximity to local amenities and the shoreline, whilst adorning a private hot tub and enclosed garden, a homely sitting room with woodburning stove, and a well-equipped kitchen, the property offers the ideal base for exploring the wonders of North Wales.
Park up on the private driveway before making your way into the kitchen/diner, well-equipped to rustle up delicious meals, dine as a family, and ease your self-catered break. After dinner, discover the garden where you can watch the sun set over the Snowdonia mountains, before climbing into the hot tub for a soak.
Views of RAF Valley can be appreciated from the garden as indeed can the occasional fly past of planes. Return indoors to warm up in front of the woodburning stove, located in the sitting room, before completing your nightly routine in the bathroom, with both a bath and shower for convenience.
Catch some rest in the homely bedrooms, including a double and a twin, before awakening to traverse the Isle of Anglesey, starting off locally at Traeth Llydan, where you can try your hand at windsurfing, kayaking, and surfing, or if you'd prefer to remain on land, enjoy a round of golf at the Clwb Golff Ynys Môn Anglesey Golf Club. Travelling towards Newborough, be welcomed by a host of attractions, including tours of the Anglesey Transport Museum & Café - Tacla Taid, hikes towards Goleudy Tŵr Mawr, a relax upon Traeth Llanddwyn, visits to the Anglesey Model Village & Cafe, and afternoons at the Anglesey Sea Zoo, a firm family favourite.
Continue across to the mainland, aiming for Snowdonia National Park, with the chance to summit Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), hike towards Glyder Fawr, or arrange an afternoon of water sports at Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre. Enjoy some family time at Cartref.
