Garden View Reviews

Bethan
We had a lovely week in Garden View with our familiy. Its a lovely little house in a beautiful area. The house is great, with good comfortable beds and sofa, a lovely garden and of course the hot tub is brilliant. Our daughter had a lot of fun in the garden and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day with the baby monitor helping us keep an eye on our little ones. There are lots and lots of things to do in the surrounding areas we particularly enjoyed dolphin watching in New Quay and Welly Wednesdays at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Steph and Chris were very friendly and welcoming hosts and they added that extra level to our stay. Also, our kids loved them and were quite sad to leave!
We had a superb week at garden view, the cottage is a bolt hole from the normal, when the new landlords have settled in there will ben amazing place to stay. The hot tub, as the landlord knows, needs to be more private. But this is being looked at. South Wales is a lovely place to start your holiday from. Ruby, our miniature schnauzer loved the doggy area, somewhere for her to be free and know where to do her business. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

We stayed at garden view cottage for almost a week. The location was ideal. just half hour away we watched the sunset at new quay harbour and went on a boat ride to watch some dolphins . We visited Tresaith aberporth beach and Tresaith waterfall it was beautiful. Chris and Steph were amazing hosts they were friendly, welcoming, understanding and really made us feel at home. They made adjustments to make us feel comfortable which we really appreciated and are grateful for, thank you both for a lovely stay ! The cottage had everything we needed for our stay , it was comfortable and ideal with little ones. The cottage had a lovely bedroom view of the garden which was nice to look out in the morning . The area was so peaceful surrounded by nature which was amazing for us as we live in a busy city.We are missing it already, my children just loved exploring the garden and say they miss the holiday home . Thanks again for everything and we wish you the best for the future
Garden View was a lovely relaxing place to stay. The owners were very welcoming. We loved the hot tub and the peaceful countryside walks nearby.
Lovely cottage, facilities were excellent, really clean and well cared for and fresh. The owners were friendly too, on hand and gave information on the area and where to go and what to do. Lovely few days away and very relaxing

Excellent property, hosts great, all went smooth as silk.
We had an enjoyable week at Garden view cottage, the cottage was very clean & tidy had everything you would need, ideal for dog owners as there are plenty of places to visit which are very dog friendly, the hot tub was a lovely addition especially after a day out, the owners Mike & Zohra are very friendly & if any problems they were on hand to sort them out.
Lovely spotlessly clean place. Owners were lovely and very welcoming , hot tub was lush we cannot wait to come back but with our children as they will enjoy it as much as we did with all the little bunnies running around listening to all the farm animals just made it even more relaxing . Would highly recommend

The 2nd time we have stayed and we absolutely love this cottage, perfect for our little family and we love the area too. The hot tub is perfect for star gazing and the bedrooms and lovely and cosy we would love to stay again next year.

Excellent stay. Cottage all clean on arrival with everything that we needed available to enjoy our stay.
Perfect cottage for any occasion. The hosts were great, we had everything we needed. We had a great time. When we arrived the cottage was very clean, the hot tub is very nice for relaxing after a day exploring the local walking routes or quaint little villages. If you are taking your dog there is a great forest nearby where you can get lost for hours. Using what three words gets you right to the property with no issues. The nearby village of Lampeter has everything you need if you forget anything. Thank you for the lovely stay.
We really enjoyed out time at Garden View. The accommodation is lovely, clean and nicely laid out. The outside areas for dogs was great for our 8 month Labrador. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and Mike and Zohra were very accommodating when we wanted to use it more often ensuring the water was cleaned. The kitchen was well equipment with anything you would want to prepare a meal. The dressing gowns provided was a lovely added touch to what was a great stay for us. Thank you Zohra and Mike.
A big thanks to Mike and Zohra. We've had a wonderful time locally especially Cei Bach beach and this was made even better due you both and your well equipped, clean, dog friendly cottage. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Best wishes Fred, Karen, George, Marley and Storm

The hot tub was lovely and clean and maintainedchecked everyday. We stayed here in May 2022 with our toddler and baby, the cottage is perfect for a small family and had everything we needed, we loved the small enclosed garden space at the back, perfect for our 3 year old son to play and we knew he was safely secure. The cottage is extremely clean and tidy and we would love to come back again. The owners are also amazing hosts and took care of all our needs.

We had a wonderful few days in West Wales. The property is well situated for getting to the gorgeous West Wales beaches. The cottage was spotless, spacious and well equipped. The hot tub is for guests age 10 and over which would have been helpful to know before booking.

The cottage was very warm, especially at night, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The are was lovely and we were able to explore lots of different areas around Wales. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Despite the wet and windy weather we got use out of the hot tub and it was nice and warm inside. TVs were great, kitchen had all we needed and the hosts were a delight.
A beautiful, cosy cottage. We had a wonderful holiday! A perfect spot to explore the coast, countryside and the Brecons. The hot tub was a lovely treat after a long days walk. Many thanks to our lovely hosts who were very helpful and were always available with any queries.
Absolutely stunning place, spotlessly clean, big garden, familyfriendly and lovely hosts. Highly recommended, and we will be coming back.

We have just returned aftet spending a week at the Garden View Cottage. Everything about the cottage was 5 star. When we arrived the owners showed us around. We messaged the owners a few times regarding places to go and Zohra always messaged back within around 10 mins. Would definitely recommend a stay at this cottage. The hot tub was definitely a bonus.
Anne-marie
Couldn't fault the cottage. It was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Everything had been thought of, including a bath robe to access the hot tub. Lovely welcome pack too. Approx 3540 mins to get to the coast, and 1.5 hours to the heart of the brecon beacons along some fairly narrow country lanes.
Monica
The owners home was next to Garden View. They greeted us on arrival showed us round and made us welcome. The cottage had everything we needed and was in a quiet location from which we could travel to all places we wanted to visit
Excellent stay, superb property, very peaceful, hosts wonderful
Lesley
We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was beautiful and very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The host Mike and Zohra were lovely, and were on hand if you needed anything or had any questions. The location was perfect, no more than 30 mins from a Beach, or just over an hour if you wanted to go to the Cardiff or Swansea. And with Breacon Beacons close by we were never stuck for something to do. The hot tub was a great added bonus to relax at the end of the day. Thank you so much to Mike and Zohra for a brilliant holiday.
Claire
We had a fabulous time! Mike and Zohra were friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. Their recommendations and that of the red folder were spot on. The cottage is modern and clean. The furniture is modern and useful. The layout of the property is good and well thoughtout. The beds are very comfortable and there is attention to details, such as the fans and the torches. The outside space is welcoming and the hot tub was a welcome addition. The outside is well set up for dogs too.

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
