Black Mountain Retreat Reviews

Emma
We loved the stunning scenery and the peaceful vibe at the cottage. The views truly are breathtaking! The barn itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfyand the quality of the linen was great. Showers were spot on! We did have a few minor issues like no oven gloves, no towels in one roomand a water supply hiccup one morning, plus a bit of mouse droppings in the kitchen, but the owners were quick to respond. Overall, a lovely stay!

We spent a week at this lovely cottage and really enjoyed it. The decor was very stylish and it had everything we needed, which was great. The owners were friendly and suggested some fun activities for our teenage boys, which they loved. The beds were super comfyand the showers were fantastic! There was plenty of wood, matchesand firelighters for the hot tub too. It took about an hour to heat, but once it was warm, it stayed that way for ages with stunning views to enjoy. Definitely recommend!
